before i start, im obviously not an expert or smth and im in no way saying im better than the animators. I just wanted to share my thoughts about the anime cuz this manga is one of my faves and ive been looking forward to the adaptation for so long. anw here are my two cents:
im a bit disappointed with how the anime turned out cuz the animation is subpar and sometimes the character movements look a bit stiff. They also didnt manage to translate the creepy aura and "shock" factor of some parts of the eps that well. They did good with phanora tho (love her eyes!) but i hope future eps could be a tad smoother and better drawn but then again it is impossible for them to match the sheer beauty of the manga
anw i still enjoy the anime and am looking forward to the next episodes
Honestly, I'm disappointed by most anime adaptations, especially if the manga art is amazing, because that style and beauty can never be replicated in the anime. So yeah, I feel ya.
same here… wish another studio picked it up or it got the same treatment as frieren. the animation highkey disappointed me too, esp since the anime trailer was how i found out about this manga. AND they did my man ashaf dirty i wanna sob

Can someone remind me what happens if a school mystery's yorishiro gets broken? All I could remember is it doesnt do any harm to the school mystery themselves, but does it affect their boundary or their powers?
