Bruh, she doesn't fall in love with him. And if you take a look to their interactions it was more like a business and partnership. Whenever they have an interactions it doesn't looks romantic. So, this story might be a slow type romance.

Yes, she indeed blush in chapter 4 but afterwards her reaction and interactions with the ML became bland and the same. It doesn't mean she blushed she already fall inlove, it's just like a feeling that somebody accepts her and acknowledge her talents. And how can you not blush if a handsome man suddenly approach you and court you like that?
Also I think she is already professional and not afraid to her death since she clearly died 6 times already, so I think she's used to it. And if you look into her personality and her deal with the ML it doesn't look submissive. Compared to the other managas with similar stories like this, the ML is more trash and unrespective towards the FL.

I think he try to change. He only awkward and because he doesn't know how to do it the correct way. He knew his mistakes and remember it all from his past life and want to make up for it. A change needs time he can not just miraculously change abruptly but at least he change bit by bit. It's understandable we hate his guts in his past life I also hate him but at least now he wanted to change it. While Ruve is different. He doesn't remember his past life and what he done is not a redemption of his past mistakes.

Of course if I was the FL I would really hate him so much. But the FL is rational. She still needs her duchess title to protect her son and herself. Without her title of duchess, she got no powerful background. And it is said in the last chapter ( forget which chapter), the Duke ignored his father in-law and he no more put up with his nonsense. He said that she is her wife and how he treated his wife is not the father in-law concern. I'm just trying to say his actions towards the father in-law change based on what I read so far. I didn't say we should forgive him easily. But still every person needs a chance to change and of course for a big horrible mistakes like he did he needs to prove his redemption hundreds time harder.

Do you expect her to be strong just in short amount of time? Give her some times more. She scared and she still came forward to the meeting to give her opinion. There's the positive development from the mc that i can see.
True, she was abused from her birth and just because she got an ancient God by her side (about whom she knows nothing) she starts being the independent strong women then that would have been a really sloppy plot.

Same, I don't expect her to be strong like other fls because if i'm being honest, being scared and acting like this is the most realistic part of this story, it's not like you can suddenly be not scared of the things you were scared for before. I hated it when she started to save everyone because the empire was the one who has forsaken her in the first place. The citizens didn't care for her before, her family abused her, none of the officials gave a shit when she was about to be sacrificed, I was confused and a lil angry about this part.

Tbh, I don't give a shit if they start caring for her, start protecting her or start softening up to her, I still hate all of the characters here, the only exception is the fl and the ml who I feel neutral about. Like y'all didn't care if she was innocent and shit, y'all didn't care when she was begging for her life. All of them hated her for wanting to live, when if you were placed into her shoes you'd be doing the same. You didn't show her an ounce of kindness except for the priest and now you suddenly pity her, next you're gonna care for her then fall for her right? Like, don't give me the they're kind they just didn't know talk, if they were really kind they would've at least shown her some pity or even a gram of kindness like what the priest did. Ik I'm still gonna hate them even if they fell for her honestly, so don't try to convince me.

Like everyone said, she's got a long way before realizing she should only care about herself but since she's still healing from her abuse, it's hard for her to stay strong. The empire is the only home she knows so that's probably the reason why she wants to save it from the monsters. I don't think she's being a typical saint. She just wants to protect the only home she knows, which is her own country. I hope that makes sense
