I thought so too. It actually got potential but the author decided to to shorten some important part like it should've showed the jealousy, inferiority complex and love issues of the emperor(which is valid and can be comparable royal histories irl) and how that empress mc is so arrogant back then even viewing herself as some God. It's all mentioned briefly. Ive read good ideas that lacks vision and talent and this is one of those, now it just becomes one the many nothing about it is unique on it's own.
