My statement of "thats how it was" simply just means thats how it was in history of human kind, reinforcing op's comment abt casual racism, coz its true that in the past white nobles were racist af to poc, its an undeniable fact, there is nothing more to my comment. Me pointing out thats how it was in the past does not equate to me saying its okay to add racist element to the plot. It was an observation statement, and shouldn't be seen as me defending the author, thats a stretch. I dont even like this manhwa to begin with. And as commented by others too, if author can add the fictional time travel element, they couldve also created a setting where poc are not looked down upon but instead author chose to add only the racism part very much close to actual history, and thats where my og comment of "I mean thats how it was in past" sprouted from.
