Like if we follow where the story is going Ian wants to finally live a better life and being with TJ was enabling and always bringing him back to the gang life even tho he “isn’t in it”. Him being an addict is an amazing parallel bc addict behavior and attachment runs deeper than just with substances but also w people and lifestyle. I love this. It’s a real conflict that happens a lot. Ppl are all different and have different perspectives and it’s really cool how the author portrays that and how it’s complicated cuz no matter how hard we try sometimes it’s just a really hard knot to untie. U can’t just magically understand something u never went through that takes time communicating and conflicts. Jiho tries his best and is learning despite failing. Plus I really think Inwoo needed to confront his issues bc when u get down to it he avoids what hurts, which is a side effect to his childhood. I’m so stressed but that’s what makes it so good. These situations are SUPER hard and complicated
