Yuup and i was prepared to come over here and spread the salt all over lol,but at least i enjoyed seeing Dohyun in this chapter,he was super cute.people always talk about how cute kid Sungho is,but it is very endearing to me how Dohyun acts like a spontaneous spoiled kid haaa,i guess he was innocent in his own way.
Since there has been a drought in present time development,let me go ahead and over-analyze lol.first of all when we see thess flashbacks,is Sungho the one remembering them? So we see what he is thinking of at the moment or what? Am gonna say it IS Sungho's memories and thoughts we are seeing.based on that,in this chapter we see Sungho lash out at Dohyun and say something mean to him,which seems to have had hurt Dohyun's feelings.then we see Sungho agonizing over it and regretting it,when he sees Dohyun,he apologizes and explains himself,saying that wasnt his intention,and that what he said came out wrong and harsh.Dohyun brushes it off and isnt really mad at Sungho.then it cuts to the present time right? So my thinking here is that adult Sungho is regretting what he did to Dohyun and he is agonizing over it.his intention was to make Dohyun remember him and have him accept him and be with him,but instead he came off as a vengeful violent person,who didnt display any signs of love to Dohyun.my guess is that Sungho is gonna try to apologize to Dohyun and explain himself,but unfortunately for him,what he did in no way compares to a few hurtful words that can be easily forgiven
And thats just me trying to tie these flashbacks to the present time,but it could be all random though lolololol.

Not gonna lie, I opened the chapter and then immediately scrolled down to the bottom. A tiny amount of mercy was shown, lol. Although I do enjoy the school life parts a lot.

Sungho looked hotter and hotter over time to me lol.

It doesn't look like a flashback to me because usually flashback scenes have different color tones.

In this chapter, Sungho crushed on Dohyun so hard. He told Dohyun that they weren't close because Dohyun went out for lunch with a bunch of other guys. Dohyun seemed to be an easy kid and didn't take things seriously at all. I like him. He also looked really cute as a kid even though I found it problematic that Dohyun slept in class before class and during lunch and didn't eat. Was he overworked by his uncle? Did he have enough to eat? I hope they'll give some more background on Dohyun's family.

Yeah at first I was a little "but how is this relevant?" but I think it reflects Sungho's mental state. While he's apologizing little Sungho talks about how he was looking forward to spending time with Dohyun and how he wants to be closer to him. Dohyun laughs and calls him really cute...uh, somehow I don't think he'll be able to get the same reaction in the present even if he apologizes.

Dohyun is really cute too. I like these chapters are presenting more sides of his character in the past. He can be an ass but I'm convinced now that he didn't intend to hurt Sungho and that their friendship was genuine. He is just the type who does whatever he pleases, while Sungho over-analyzes and attaches a lot of significance to everything. They could have been good for each other if it had gone just a little differently.

Dont you also think that the memories in the past season seemed to show how bad and anxious Sungho felt because of Dohyun,while the recent ones so far in this season seems to show how Dohyun made Sungho feel good and warm hearted?
I think this definitely refelcts a change of mind in Sungho,i think this season he wont be as bitter and angry but more regretful and kind towards Dohyun maybe?
Lol hope am not over-analyzing things but i feel like there is a meaning to the order of these flashbacks,what we see and when.

I hope Sungho will be kinder this season and has had a change of heart and I agree about the more positive tone of the flashbacks. I just worry if he is stable enough to be able to genuinely regret what he did...and is still doing. I can see him regretting some of the crueler things he did in anger while still not seeing a problem with the captivity or the rape. Also it all seems very black and white, Dohyun as either the evil villain or the beautiful unattainable object of his affection. Dohyun better hope Sungho's attitude doesn't flip back as soon as he wakes up and opens his mouth. Or when he realizes what Dohyun did to his diary.

Girls, what change of heart?!? Did you forget the spoilers shared on twitter? In one of the pictures, Dohyun is bundled in rope while still naked!! He was almost strangled and beaten to death (and in great pain I suppose), yet Sungho still feels the urge to immobilize him so cruelly!

Yeah, this. lol I don't think Sungho will suddenly let Dohyun go or something just because Dohyun got hurt. I'm sure Sungho wants to keep him more than anything now that he has come to terms with the fact that he still likes Dohyun. And anyway there's not really a "nice" way to keep someone kidnapped, haha. And if Sungho does let up on the bondage, Dohyun's clocking the fuck outta there, and Sungho knows that.

People, have sum faith. If u don't, look at If You Hate Me So. It started with rape and all the horrible stuff but turned into Fluffville.

Well...looking at how Dohyun was acting before he got knocked out, if Sungho left him alone without tying him up securely, he might hurt himself struggling, attempt suicide, or actually manage to escape, since it looks like Sungho took him to a house, which probably isn't equipped like the warehouse.

So...maybe Sungho is just taking a quick nap before he goes to get him some new pants? Or maybe not.

haaaaaa "nice" was not the right word to use here,i meant Sungho nice lolol.meaning he will stlll restrain him(i mean he did say in the prologue that he would do anything to keep Dohyun with him),he will still force himself on him and maybe eventually snap and beat him up,i mean this is Sungho we are talking about here.

I do have faith. Even from the beginning I got the feeling they will end up together. It's just that I want to see some development already, not only raping, beatings and unrevealing flashbacks. It's way too much display of violence from Sungho's part and it annoys me, it's not what I was expecting from this manhwa - well, at least not for so long. But I'm still hooked on it, of course, otherwise I wouldn't keep reading it.

I agree to an extent, they never did pay for the damages to his car. And all four of them are in a similar situation so it would have been nice if they were more courteous. But I do understand their need to be cautious and a bit weary as it is that kind of uncertain situation. They are acting sad probably for the reasons the previous commenter (Kiyotake) has stated. And I will add that yes they should learn to be more like Bexan and Minsuk and learn to appreciate what they have with each other.

You can't embrace a wolf the same as a human. It's sort of sad that they can't enjoy themselves--go on dates and do daytime things as a human couple. Plus, we don't know enough about Ein and Diesel to make a conclusion about their behaviors. Sure, they are both dicks for not fixing Minsuk's mini cooper especially since Ein is driving an audi! They've probably been together much longer than Bexan and Minsuk and have experienced hardships that made them so cold acting. Sp, we'll be learning about them. Hopefully, Diesel won't come inbetween Bexan and Minsuk. Plus, Diesel is from Germany so how did he end up in Germany and how did Bexan end up in S. Korea if their kind is in Siberia aka. Russia?

I really like the second couple. A cool, mature older man and a long haired protective beauty. Honestly, I'm not that mad at Diesel for hitting Bexan. I just assumed that they're ruled by their animal sides when it comes to strong emotions like anger and love. And it's not that difficult to imagine why they're so sad when the sun rises. They appear to have been with one another longer than Bexan and Minsuk. Bexan and Minsuk are barely in the beginning of their relationship. Diesel and Ein know how lonesome it is to be next to each other but not truly be "together." I feel they must've gone through really troubling times together

Why is Sungho so amazingly cute...I love this lil Sungho with his slightly bolder and more outspoken personality. Even if he still won't grow up and wrecks everything he touches. I mean, Dohyun doesn't even hate his guts in this universe, he should take what he can get. XD Although I guess a Dohyun who seems like he pities him and doesn't take him seriously adds even more salt to the wounds.

The treasure line is a song sang in the story. I might have translated it incorrectly because songs are just harder for me to understand in general. So I can't really answer your question...

I don't think Sungho staying like that forever with Dohyun would work because:

1. Dohyun had enough.

2. Even though Sungho still looked like a kid, he was mentally an adult and he thought like an adult. He wanted to grow up and progress their relationship to a romantic one but I don't think that's what Dohyun was looking for.

Why are these two like this in every universe even though they like each other?

Well, I think the grown up thing to do would have been to keep his promise in the first place, no matter how painful it was. He just prolonged the inevitable and made it even worse. But he wouldn't be Sungho if he was able to let go that easily.

It's like they are destined for conflict. Sungho lacks zen and won't accept that things change and are lost, while Dohyun is a little too zen and won't get attached to anything. I dunno, this doujin gives it a very philosophical bent. XD

If my favorite mangaka, Mishima Kazuhiko, is to do a similar story like this, then Dohyun would stay with adult Sungho out of love and they'll have a lot of great consensual sex. Then on his deathbed, before Sungho departs this world, he'll speak the words and release Dohyun. But alas, this is the writer of WH.

I think 12.5 is the answer to that...drunken old man either thinks Dohyun is a lady or no longer cares lol. Maybe he is not supernaturally beautiful, but he is probably quite pretty.

Heck, he's gorgeous to me. I started reading it because I saw the banner on Lezhin and I thought he was beautiful lol. Anyway, I remember seeing all of these photos and videos of this Korean pop idol or something on KillerWhale's twitter and the guy looked a bit like Dohyun so I believe the creators also thought he was beautiful.

I like dark-haired men so I'm totally biased but my personal preference aside, I think Dohyun is good-looking at least to other characters in WH. He was popular with the girls in high school after all.

Yes Dohyun is very Handsome/Beautiful . . . he's extremely physically attractive in my opinion and also in his universe but he just does not have the mentality of an attractive person. The men that surround Dohyun have either wanted to be with him or get rid of him. Dohyun on the other hand does not have the skills to take advantage of his attractiveness and that is why he ended up here.

He kinda falls into the "So Beautiful, It's a Curse" trope.

Here are some physical traits that make Dohyun attractive:
1. He's tall, 2. He is healthy Lean, 3. Silky black hair, 4. Big Almond shape eyes, 5. Clean clear complexion, 6. Both Men and Women have fallen for him. 7. He also has a really nice BUTT. (I am looking at you chapter 12.5!)

I don't think Dohyun's beauty is the kind that will pass for a girl. To me his beauty is the kind where you would chose him over a girl, not chose him because he looks like a girl. Everyone still knows he's a guy, (His hair is conservatively short, no long eye lashes, or thick pouting lips.) - Just my thoughts.

I just checked out the manga you mentioned and I think the problem with the uke isn't his eye shape but the size. He got tiny eyes. Big eyes and full lips are attractive in nearly all cultures and Dohyun got these big eyes.

lol you're right. Money is attractive. Dohyun was poor his entire life and he acted like a poor person. At the point when he was kidnapped, he was working two jobs and still broke AF. The Imugi Dohyun was considered beautiful because he glammed up his appearance with jewelry and nice clothes.

One thing I notice is that Dohyun looks almost the same as his high school self. In my experience, most men change a lot once they become adults (not always for the worse). Let's say, if Dohyun grew up and became an ugly dude, do you think Sungho still did all the perverted things to him?

I know what you mean about them all being drawn nicely. When I first saw Hat guy I thought he looked a lot like Dohyun but you have to look at the small details. My experience with artistes is that sometime when they draw the characters over and over again . . . they all start to kinda share similar styles so you have to look to the small details to tell weather one character is to be consider pretty in-universe or plane or ugly. Sometimes it's not always easy and might come down to personal taste which is totally fine.

About guys changing when they grow up . . . you are right. Men start maturing letter then women not even fully maturing until into their mid 20s sometimes.

Asian men don't have facial hair for the most part, only sparse stubble here and there. Their faces don't go through large bone structure changes either. You will not find a square jaw on most Asian men. The only thing that really changes for the most part is their height and possibly if they gain or lose a bunch of weight.

The one who went through a miraculous change is Sungho. He was so cute as a kid.

Maybe he might not want to seek the same kind of revenge if he noticed that Dohyun has changed but I think he would still have strong feelings towards him. I am sure that Dohyun being attractive is a big pulse for Sungho but his affections for Dohyun go beyond that. (9 years or 15 years in AU) Also I think one of the main reasons Sungho is seeking revenge is because Dohyun has not changed at all. He is still the same kind of terrible personality.

Dohyun is such an incredible badass. He was able to realize this could be his greatest chance for escape and fight for it with all his strength, even though he just got strangled and was on the edge of a mental breakdown. I love it.
