What a genius. The world this author haas created is so vast and infinite, there are so many stories to explore. It feels as if all characters get a beautiful conclusion except one, the world. Like it feels it has so much to tell, even without Mori (i love him tho, wouldn't mind more of his story). I have actually dreamt about it, about being part of this world, and it feels fantastic
Fuck I feel bad for Jiho, yk you cant just blame a person who is sick on the head. A person so irrational can't be judged, just pitied. Yet, he can't be with Yujun. He can't and should not try to make him shoulder all of that pain. Yujun just recovered man, Jiho pls go to a psych ward or yk get help from a doctor not from Yujun ╥﹏╥
What a hidden gem! It is not listed with other Bad Pharmacy's works but ofc it is one of this author's works. As always, a great story.
I love how we see at first the pov from who we think is the most 'logical, rational' person, the class prez, and we are supposed to think the ''delinquent' is the one with the most problems. Yet as you get to know more about them, we notice that, while both have problems, there is someone in danger here and he himself is not aware of that. Until he does. That no matter how much he thinks he acts "like an adult' he is not. He can't say he chose to do that, he can't. He is a victim.
On the other hand, the 'delinquent' realizes that maybe he should start acting more mature. He should make himself clear. He may not be an adult, but he is not a kid whose life is decided by adults. He has things he wants to do
It is one of the few stories where spending time apart was necessary for them to grow as characters. Now, they find each other as people who conquered their fears and problems. Now they get to enjoy the fruits of their hard work. As the story says, the festival is just starting.
This really is a great story about youth
The MC needs therapy, and the ML needs someone to save him from MC ╥﹏╥ I mean ML's life also got fucked up because of abandonment issues and just now that he is kinda getting life together at military service, the MC misses him and calls him?
The MC will always get emotional support from ML, yet he will go back to his toxic behaviour unless get gets help from an specialist #-.-)
Hikaru is not human, he is a completely different being that crossed the other side. Humans values and ethics do not work on him, he is an amoral being and he doesn't know about "good" or "bad". Thats why Yoshiki dreams about a dog, its the same.
The thing is, that Hikaru can communicate like a human. And that is scary. He is scarier than your typical monster because he can communicate. And he also looks like a human, so you expect him to behave like one, but he is fundamentally different and should not live with humans.
He doesn't even share the sames desires, he has his own desire: to have or consume souls. It is in his nature. Damn he doesnt even see the living as the same way and he will never do it, since for him the essence of one is their soul and the soul exists no matter if the being is alive or not.
Yet, after taking "half of his insides" out, it feels like he is becoming "more and more humanly", by trying to understand Yoshiki's pov. But he still cant understand society values, or can he? At one point he says that for him is the same if Yoshiki's soul was in a human or an elephant, just to be followed by "but if you werent human we wouldn't be able to eat ice cream together" and confuses himself...so maybe he IS getting there. But honestly, to have him try to change his nature may only result in him destroying himself...like the sunglasses guy said
i can't help but liken him to a dog, because people tend to impose human morals on to them. they don't understand right or wrong or morals from the human perspective because they dont exist to them, but they understand humans reactions to 'right' and 'wrong' and try to display appeasing behaviour to please us :( to me that is 100% 'hikaru'. he literally cannot comprehend what yoshiki is on about with human morals, but he understands what upsets yoshiki and works to make him happy despite not understanding. i love 'hikaru' so much idc

Yooo this is so good. I love how all characters learn from each other and change their mindset , although little of it. Like, the theme of this story is clearly not romance, but the struggles of alpha-omega dynamic.
For example,Takatora is an unlikeable character on purpose, with the typical alpha mindset and even said he would love to have a harem...yet, because he turned out to be an omega he will learn how it is like to be one and oppose to it. He, despite it all, inspires his omega classmates with his thinking of life and how he will become a winner in it. They learn from it and in their own way begin to fight, they all want also a comfortable life.
Although little change, it is significant to them. Like Karasuma and Arisaka taking control of their lives. Now they r the ones choosing instead of being chosen. Or Kameyama who wants to be a politician who fights for omegas rights taking into consideration Takatora's view as an ex-alpha about society and how to deal with it.
Even Takatora himself begins to change as he encounters the struggles of an omega as shown in this latest chapter, yet because of his pride, it is hard to let go his alpha mindset. After all, he has ways of helping (money, connections) but won't do anything because he has not changed yet.
