Broo this story is waaay too painful I cant. Damn. Its despair. There are three sides here: church, witches and hell. All of them are fucking hypocrites. But if I gotta choose one, then, no matter how you think about it, it has gotta be the witches.
*Church: wants to "protect" the world (wants to mantain the order of the world as it is. Doesnt matter how many sins humanity commits. They have not changed their ways and teachings since long time ago, make children join their side even if it means having them fight later on and risk their lives, also what they did to MC is AWFUL, horrible)
*Witches: want to "change" the world (they do not tell you how, or how many lives would this cost. They do NOT want to end the world, and do not really side with demons either, they just want their power. Most witches have been through difficult times and so they despair. Even the first witch was said to try to calm the souls of those who died because of the church. Verge even said that the number of people who have died at their hands is comparable with the ones who died because of the church. Also, the ones Verge killed are people that uh...were kind of evil (or so he says))
*hell: um...they want to end it all lol. Evil. Maybe some have a lil empathy but thats all (they want to end humanity? I mean, isnt the source of their power the desires of humankind?)
ARCHEOLOGY + BL?!?! AND IT IS WELL DONE?! well i will admit i kinda dozed off a couple of times BUT the metaphor between MC feelings and archeology are chef kiss. Sooo beautifully executed!!!! It gives me the butterflies 5/5
I like how uke falls in and out of love so fast, and seme just doesn't care about it. They r both so extreme, I wonder how they will end up dating (if they do)
The owl and the bluejayyy uuu i loved them so much i need mooore!! The contrast between them was amazing. I love how the bird keeps on saying he wants peace and quiet places yet he is the loudest one lololol also the owl's black eyes aaaa he was so emotionless yet so passionate!!!

ik this story is disturbing and all but I rlly want to know where this rollercoaster is going. Some things kinda obvious but still want to point out:
1. Asahi IS shitty. His obssessive behaviour and off comments are awful! Like, he is MC brother and doing all this lewd stuff is UGH, and to isolate MC from outer world is EW, and he also threatens MC and tells him he hates him... But the worst part is his "I am bigger than you, do not try to fight me" comments, like ??? Does author rlly think they can somehow make his character good by the end of the story? I know the end will be like Stockholm syndrome or somehow an "uwu cute yandere bro he is just possessive af but they be happy" ending like...I rlly think this will have a shitty ending (like all the other toxic incest yandere stories here.
2. MC has a mental issue: he has burn out and is probably depressed. Many want Miki-chan to save him but...Miki offered MC to move in with her, MC denied her more than once (chapter 1). The flashbacks we see of his time with Miki are not actually that different of his actual situation. She tells him he doesn't need to do anything, and she was probably keeping him like a pet (well at least Miki did let him go out and paid him a room for a while) the thing is that Miki was not helping MC, because if she did, she would help him get on his feet and motivate him to find a job.
This is SOOOOOO good. Idc how it ends. Idc what happens, this story is everything!!
