i feel like both manga and anime that end like this, most of the time it because they want to keep it open, just in case they want to pick it up again and continue it. OR its because they have other work they need to do, so they purposely leave it feeling like an ending, but to surprise the readers when they finish their other work and come back to this one.
but imma be optimistic and get my own hopes up, and say that there will be a continuation.
i feel like its kind of messed up. its like its teaching you that is fine to be controlled by such possessive and abusing behaviour. Midori is handled so violently, forced to do things he didnt consent to, and apologize for what? just because his friend saw the hicky? and because he visited him while he was working? K-sensei could have politely said, "i'm busy right now, so maybe next time" (even if there wasn;t going to be a next time).
its not alright for K-sensei to treat him like a possession, an object - its so wrong. Its like those domestic abuse relationships, just toned down a bit.
Now that is how you relationship as adults. When one of you messes up, you just talk about it.
Yes if the person who was hurt needs time to calm down, give them their space. Then when they have calmed now, just talk it out, LISTEN to each other. that is all.
