Okay so it's BL. The MC is an unlucky bitch who appears cute to his friends but is actually an asshole. So he saw this lucky guy who is also popular and decides to befriend him. MC says that he likes the lucky dude so they go out(?). The MC has light hair and the lucky guy has a dark hair.
It's also a funny manga lol.
It's BL and the premise is that they have the same name (or maybe they both have eye glasses???). The other guy always helps people out, and the other guy has light hair, blunt, and kind of anti-social. IIRC the guy who helps out people was hired by the anti-social dude for housekeeping.
Please I want to read it again and idk if it's ongoing or what
Please no questionable shit like SA
NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

My gay ass won't literally read it unless there's some gay shit involved lol. Hbu?
I've gone through this phase. You'll go through this too. At one point I started reading only bl, then one day I read all bl available to the app (back then I used to read from some app called manga rock) I read around 50+ bl in a week, I got addicted to bl so hard that I started to look for it online. Changed sites like 4 times and then I finally found this haven where the bls will never end! I love this site so bad
I figured out I was demi after reading some gay shit. Literally.
Okay but let's be honest here, even if you're a straight A cancer type of hetero girl or guy, reading about BG/hetero romance gets boring super quickly. This happens for a number of reasons, like:
- Typical FL are stereotypically depicted as dodder flowers, weak females who are dependent on the ML or their family. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
- Typical FL can never be depicted as fighting physically against their oppressors, but can only exchange a few witty words with the villains, in order to maintain the "cute and soft" personality. HOW FUCKING BORING CAN YOU GET??? (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
- Typical Korean rofan type webtoons have the European type ambience where the FL costumes are fucking disgusting and make you want to vomit due to how many flounces and pink ruffled bows are drawn on her dress, which makes you think you're actually reading a Disney webtoon or something. We grew out of watching Disney after becoming teenagers (most of us). Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
- Typical FL are the farthest from self-sufficient, independent, willful, level-headed, funny or simply interesting because the authors/artists think that the people reading this shit want a dumbed down female character or maybe the artists/authors have some kind of anti-feminist agenda? IDK! #-.-)
The only BG romance that I've found interesting is like some kind of thrilling plot with adventure and/or badass FL, e.g. Devil's Line; Reporting for Duty, Duchess (altho her dresses still make me gag and she could defo be more badass)...
If BG romance could be made interesting enough for me to pay attention for awhile, the mangaka/manhwga has gotta give me a FL like Mikasa for fucks sake!
(lmao don't take offense if you like dresses with huge flounces)

Well I think it's a problem sometimes where the main mangakas/artists are heterosexual men or women who have no real interest or knowledge of actual BL/GL sex. The main reason why they're drawing this stuff is because it's popular and will get them paid, imo. The better BL that I've read was written or created by someone who was not straight. I think hetero artists/authors can also create some good works but the sex scenes will inevitably be awkward, the emotions will lack depth, the sex roles of top/bottom will be completely rigid (which is not what happens IRL) or something feels a little off. In a real gay relationship, there are definitely people who would rather top or bottom, but the actual proportion of people who "switch" roles is far greater than what you see in Asian BL. It's better represented in Western BL (MM/MMM) novels.
And the problem of an artist who is hetero will be magnified when they define rigid top/bottom character roles because they will fall back on their hetero understanding of what "topping" and "bottoming" means. To them, being a top is like being a man in a BG relationship - taller, stronger, more domineering, more dependable financially, a kind of "daddy" figure. And a bottom is like a woman in a BG relationship - shorter, thinner, weaker physically and feels dependent emotionally on the top, may even depend on the top to be their sugar daddy or something. Of course it's natural that some gay couples IRL will look like this, but there are so many who don't, and they're actually labeled as "manly gay couple" on places like novelupdates. But all these guy characters are supposed to be men, so why are some more manly than others? SMH...omg this kind of warped thinking is really annoying.
The title is different on this website! https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/izo08g8/reporting-for-duty-duchess
Mmm... wait I remember that the novel version of Reporting for Duty, Duchess! is available on booktoki and naver, I just use the DeepL extension on Chrome browser and it works pretty well for MTL. At least it's often more accurate than Google translate (but not always). https://booktoki308.com/novel/6069644?stx=%EB%8C%80%EC%9C%84%EB%8B%98%21+%EC%9D%B4%EB%B2%88+%EC%A0%84%EC%9F%81%ED%84%B0%EB%8A%94+%EC%9D%B4%EA%B3%B3%EC%9D%B8%EA%B0%80%EC%9A%94
or buy it on Naver https://series.naver.com/novel/detail.series?productNo=6807942
Is there anyone interested in translating this ABSOLUTE BANGER OF A MANGA? The raws have been uploaded in this site already and the uploader is just waiting for someone to translate it.
