I'm not sure and this probably won't make any sense, but it's better than not expecting anything at all. Baro is a waste of a character, the plot is slow phased and for baro's well built character, it would hurt the story to lose him.

I think baro haven't switched side yet, cause if he is an actual villain he will appear more in front of the mc's which if he did, it will hinder his operations/plan. He seems to be acting alone so if he openly shows himself to either caius or koichi, they would either save him or get him a grip somethin like that. Also, when baro approached koichi he might be trying to tell something about the egg?? Cause he's already in the group, he might have found something out. I hope he's not a villain tho, I'm gettin bored with this #－.－)

Before reading this, i read comments and marked to my head that this has a fucked up story so does its ending. While reading this mixed feelings came through. Wonder, Irritation, Sadness, Happiness and many more came in. To make myself clear, I don't pity murderers and so are people who'd make fun of how people look/think/act/react/live their life. It's not good to play around people's feelings and gesture toward someone or something without knowing what's going thru their mind/life. I hated the mother SO MUCH for being like that to seiichi. But starting from the chapter where in seiichi got released from the prison and finally meeting his mother again till the last chapter, all I felt was sadness and pain. As someone who experienced depression for years because of family and peer matters, their story hits different. I won't even argue if someone disagree with my statement that I do understand their actions, why? Because you will never be able to tell what a person was thinking/feeling just because of their actions. Monsters weren't born, they were made, and it is them. Don't worry if you hate the story, It wasn't meant for you to understand, it's meant to just exist and inform. Fin.
Since my theory about kartein's power was right, allow me to make another one! Kidding. So i think, just an assumption. Might there be one of the top ten that is going berserk or been hurting and picking fights to another top 10. Astra is 1 of the top 10 so i know that he's painstakingly strong too, if he was hurt to the point that he needs kartein's healing doesn't that mean there's someone strong enough to live a large wound on him?? It's either that person is 1 of the top 10 or not 1 of the top 10 just like kayden and loves to pick fights too. Furthermore, If ever this was right there's a possibility that this might be a villain that kayden/kartein and jiwoo will go against with (can also be a protag or someone related to jiwoo/others). Kinda worrying about my babies tho, they haven't had a nice rest (￣ε(#￣)Σ
