Caesar is a psychopath and violent murderer and? That still doesn't justify the huge plot hole of kidnapping leewon like that and then suddenly executing "the plan" like it didn't just come out of someone's ass wtf????
No prior indication no foreshadowing it wasn't even a good twist because it was obvious he wasn't dead!
Man this leaves a bad taste in my mouth I don't think I'll even read the side stories what a waste...

Also yiyoung isn't dumbed down to create petty conflict he is young and this is his first relationship... he's outgoing sociable and a naive person as established in the main story the very director kang that we love was one of the people that did him dirty at first... also he's very kind and nice and he doesn't strike me as a person with clear or cut throat boundaries yet he is a very good person and an honest cutie patootie that doesn't shy away from owning his mistakes and correcting them
They both have alot to learn from eachother and that's why they're such a perfect match they complete each other so cut my baby some slack will ya

At the last creator's note the artist said they like pitiful sentimental and oppressive things and I have never had anyone describe my taste in stories better than that... I guess that's why I've always been drawn to bls specially with pitiful/weak ukes... I think that type of melancholy is kinda delicious(づ￣ ³￣)づ
Anyways this is a comfort reread for me and Ryan is a shifty hypocrite yet a well written very morally grey character so not sad for him but the whole discussion of knowing that you'll outlive your loved ones always makes me sad （/TДT)/

OK soooo I did not remember how it ended if I did I probably wouldn't touch it again...
I usually love angst and I can appreciate a good tragedy but the ending just feels rushed...like not just the last chapter the whole last arc of the story was so rushed. All the Maggio bullshit felt like it came out of nowhere like there was no real weight to his motive and it feels like such a waste of a good story and world building... This could easily be 80 to 100 chapters to fully bring out characters and to let the story develop naturally.
Still not a bad read if you like gut punching angst
I in my little head cannon will think that the wife is a lesbian and Anton and her will both live with their own lovers but under the pretext of the conventional marriage they have and Anton's anxiety will get better in time and he and Arwin will then live a happy kinda normal life. There that's the real ending

Although I find author's implications about heeseo as a lover in the note kinda questionable I understand them loving the characters they created so I'm just gonna pretend I didn't see that and keep treating this as a piece of art about messed up people doing messed up things and solely focus on the psychological aspects of the story and how they have to make really hard decisions as taekyung once did about his sick stepmother now turned politician. Like the story is really promising and I could see them ending up together and "in love" because they both are very messed up and not everyone ends up in healthy happy situations as they shouldn't because that would be a very boring story if I want fluff I'll just read fluff ...
Anyways hope to see more this is very interesting.

I remember reading this before when the official translations had just started then I dropped it and I came back now and I couldn't stop! I literally binged every chapter there was...
English is not my first language yet I didn't find this hard to understand it might be a bit slow paced but that gives the author time to develop the characters and all their complexities fully and I really appreciate that. Like I personally think even every sex scene between them shows different aspects of their personalities, their doubts and true thoughts and feelings. Like the subdued violence of Taeha that sometimes seeps out or the unexpected tenderness and vulnerability that Hawoon shows at some moments. He truly is a cat and I love him(づ￣ ³￣)づ
There is not a boring moment in the whole thing if you take time to read everything and think about the dynamics but I guess I would be boring if you just want romance with plot on the side!
Honestly it's kinda shocking that this many people are displeased with this... this is like such a cool concept and storyline and it definitely can't be considered romance. There are plenty other stories with kind of the same dynamic and cinderella plot line and as much as I like those too I see people complaining about the opposite in the comments there... i just think we should show a little bit more gratitude instead of mindlessly complaining when reading someone's hard work for free...（￣へ￣）
