But honestly as much as I feel deeply for him and just so frustrated and sad about how his life turned out and how much he was wronged and everyone failed him I can't help but really feel bad for hajin too... like I can't imagine how heavy is the burden of all these people's love and regrets and expectations while you feel like a fraud yet you can't do anything but try your best to honor the original body's loved ones and try to keep them safe and happy... and do your best to honor the person you're currently living as and try your best to make him someone that people love and remember fondly... I would have folded under pressure and just scaped to somewhere nobody would know me tbh I applaud him for his strength
Exactly. Hajin is the strongest in this story, cause he had to try his best to atleast give sihyeon the life he deserve and not only keep the promise he was tasked to do. Bro couldve quite being an idol and go somewhere else but instead tried to live the life of sihyeon despite the trauma he is experiencing with the body. And also trying to live while u know ur whole identity is dead is admirable. Even if he think his life didnt matter, deep down he still somewhat clings to his old self which is why he like his interaction with the gangster guy(i forgot the name hdjvd).
Omg you're so right I was thinking at least he hated his old life so that's good but I just realized that life is still tied to his identity and add to all of this sihyeon was the person that ended that existence and identity... like yes it was an accident but this adds a new layer of strength to hajin like not only he doesn't resent the person that ended his existence, he's getting revenge on their behalf also... man i love this author's brain so much
I want recs like under the oak tree... like I absolutely love Maximilian and I wouldn't want her any other way. The strong female lead trope is kinda tired now and she is the greatest FL in my opinion because she isn't just made of wits and strength or on par with the knights and shit like that she's herself... her very flawed self with a lot of weaknesses yet she's always doing what she can even if it's not much and I see that as the ultimate strength.
