(Get ready for a rant) Not exclusively about yaoi but I HATE when a story is criticized for "romanticized rape" when the rape is literally just a plot device. Applied to the only university in the area that had it without a concentration in Chemistry but they lost their accreditation for the program 1 month after I enrolled and never regained it (plus they were really unorganized and charging unnecessary fees).
