I feel like the story is setting her character up so well that even if the brother ends up being the emperor and not her, she will not be mad or regret it and neither will I. Her willingness to play on fair grounds and accept the fact that she could lose makes me at ease with the possible outcomes as well. Truly refreshing characterization in this genre ngl
