I can't comment on depression, but I've been fighting (losing) a battle agaisnt insomnia for like a decade now. The thing is that it can't really be diagnosed. Insomnia is often a sign of underlying issues, so I would think about that first.

What Remains of Edith Finch is a masterpiece of a visual novel. I wouldn't even hesitate to call it a great piece of art. The way this game makes you experience these half-stories half-tales is fascinating. You just keep falling deeper and deeper until you hit the bottom and go "woah." Awesome interactive story game in which you play as a guy who woke up on the middle of the battlefield with no memory of who you are. Personally, therapy didn't help me at all. The only therapist I ever saw basically told me that my fear of rejection is unfounded since I never got bullied and my social anxiety isn't THAT bad cuz I can still function, right? As long as I have a job and go to school, it's fine (yay thanks). I was only looking for reassurance that I'm not making it ...... reply
