I know I'll get a lot of hate for this, but I'm saying it anyway:
I know everyone are hating on the head maid (forgot her job title), the princess, and hope Alejandro stops Ibelina, but I think all of this is OK.
The head maid isn't wrong, considering the time and their status. She's been told all her life that servants are the lowest, and back then social status was everything. If anything she's doing this for Ibelina's sake. This has nothing to do with jealously or power greed. Yes Ibelina was the only one to care for him when he was cursed, but that was 1. her job, and 2. that time is long past.
Ibelina is just creating more drama because she doesn't understand the society, and thinks she can do whatever as long as she doesn't get into a romantic relationship with Alejandro.
I personally think that it's better if she leaves, get a new career, and creates a name for herself. That way, if they meet again x years later, she will no longer be a maid and be a more acceptable candidate for him.
As for the princess, she was a little child, probably 3-4 years old. Kids that age have no filter and she was scared. It's not like she knew how bad this would hurt him. He's allowed to hate her ofc, but as a reader I don't think she deserves it (from others than the person himself). Also if she becomes aware of it and tries to make up for it...
Also just because they met again after 12 years, where he has hated her the whole time, doesn't mean she will become a love rival.

I really like this series, but I know it's plagiarized. The author admitted years ago that they plagiarized Daughter of the Emperor, but didn't get punishment despite being sued.... So it's hard to support...
Honestly the only thing similar is the daughter father relationship so does that mean every author of "daughter-father" kind of plot copying daughter of the emperor too?

It's a good thing that the author admitted but I wonder what part she/he plagiarized .. Is it the daughter-father plot? I don't find anything similar with the story though
I'd probably call this "being inspired" rather than plagiarism. I know the lines are blurred between the two concepts, but I'd argue that this author at least brings something to the table with their characterization and plot development. I mean, I can't stand Daughter of the Emperor, I hate the MC and the way everyone just exists to uwu at her, I read like a few chapters and dropped it. From this alone I'd argue it's fair use.
Another point I'd like to make is, the "reincarnated as a daughter of a very powerful and supposedly cruel father" premise is, or has become, a trope. Lately there are stories such as Rykell and Demon Lord's stories (sorry I can't be bothered to remember their names, they just copy the trope so sloppily and thus make for forgettable stories) which can attest to that fact.
But then again I didn't read the novels, so I can't vouch that the author didn't copy whole passages (which is the degree I'd admit should be called plagiarism) without giving credit, so yeah.
The two stories are way too different to call that plagiarism.. in my opinion, the author just admitted in order to avoid any problems even though it's not plagiarism
Apart from the daughter and daddy theme nothing and I mean absolutely nothing is alike........forgive me for saying this but if she did plagiarise from that......her work is ten times better.

June 2016 author announced they plagiarized Daughter of the Emperor, and that there are over 40 similarities between the two novels. But the author don't want to apologize for it, and instead make the author of Daughter of the Emperor apologize for this happening.

i think the only part that could be is when they meet they'r daughters have the intent to kill them, both growing to love them, both been killer machines and the daughter's resemble them physically (hair and eyes) been topic of gossip in the court and that they make plans to avoid the bad end (like almost all reincarnation's) and the black hair dude that understand them and posses magic (they act like childhood friends but have a certain romantic feeling towards the mc and are the favorites to be with our girls).. oooo and the closest bodyguard even though they do have different personality's and backgrounds
ok there are some similar things but the story development is way different and the personality's of the girls too, Athy is way more mature and Ria is delusional ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I see everyone raging that the twins are adults and she can't take them back. In Japan, the legal age is 21. They're 20, so they are still children by law.
