After MC makes it public that her engagement is over, Banache dumps that fiancée (R something, I forgot his name). Banache confess her love to the prince, but of course he turns her down. Then she goes to the MC's brother and Meiger, and confess her love to them. Both of them turn her down. LOLOL basically she thinks everything is about her, but no one loves her. And it all happens in less than 10 min, everything in the same room in front of countless people.
"prince i like you"
"I have no love to spare for you"
"Meiger I like you"
"no"
"Roland ! I love you"
"I will never forgive anyone who hurt my sister"
The whole kingdom watching + the king "..."
Lolol
Spoiler for everything, including ending (ending has its own spoiler warning at the very bottom!!)

Perrat gets his heart broken, just saying. Him liking her is totally out of the blue really. She wears the prince's dress and returns Perrat's dress so he can get a refund.
As for the prince, he's super pure and nice, obviously they kiss.
As for the monsters, they know she is the author/God, which is why they listen to her and protect her. They have something really important to tell her, but are always interrupted.
The princess is also quite random and is only after the prince so she can wage war on her sister and get revevge... But he already like MC! So she obviously fails.

the monsters finally tell her, the world is falling apart, and she had to return to her world. She then writes a new book where the prince becomes king because he really deserve it! And let's him keep his memories. Then she goes back to be with him.
Anyone else read the novel? I recently finished chapter 95 two weeks ago
I know right? It's currently on chapter 130++ and still going.
I can't wait for people to rage over when Akari appears again XD *grabs popcorn*
But honestly, I don't think the actual rival (the other girl they meet later and the second heroine) is that bad. She's kinda a good person?? Or am I thinking of another character?
She is a good person, but was still close to volontary ruin their wedding ceremony and was only stopped by someone else action... So, a nice person only if she was forced to act by the scenario of the game or if you truly think that every human is flawed and can make big mistakes sometimes. For me the only time one can lose temper or controle of his or her actions are situations like when someone badly hurted his or her family. Interrupting a weeding is always a selfish action, even more so when you are sure that the person does not answer your feelings...
Obviously a relationship doesn't end with marriage, because then it's about staying together. But in games, movies, etc that's usually the final point before "happily ever after", so I personally think it should have ended there. It was already getting a little boring before the wedding, after it was just really unnecessary dragging on the story.
I agree completely!!! That's why I kept reading, I honestly had a lot of expectations, specially since the beginning was really good. It honestly gave me such giddy moments, they were genuinely cute and I adored their moments together, but they slowly lost the spark. I did like most characters introduced, but they didn't really add much to the story either. And I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that it was boring even before the wedding, and afterwards it didn't pick itself up either. Sigh. Guess it was the right choice to stop reading after all, the manga is good I guess.
Ugh I don't care that he regrets it, he's supposed to be in love with Akari now. Even if she brainwashed him (like charm magic or love potion), it's too late. If it was true love he would be able to break free, or not be affected because "it won't work on someone if they are already in love" rule.
Just go back to that other woman
I know the point with the story is that she can do everything and all, but wow is she the Mary Sue of all Mary Sue's that have ever Mary Sue'd
I thought a mary sue means that the world sort of revolves that character. Like- she is automatically or easily becomes a pro at multiple things; in many cases it becomes overbearing which is y it becomes pretty painful to read.
From what I've seen marie definitely fits that trope since she doesnt really work hard for those skills; it's given to her through visions. However, this one was executed in a way where it is still pretty enjoyable to read despite that, so it isnt painful like most stories with a mary sue.
Does she really need to be painful in order for her to be qualified as a mary sue? It seems to me that that unpleasant feeling is more subjective tho.
Please enlighten me about ur definition of a mary sue; im just curious cuz everyone seems to be talking about that character trope :/
Ah- Im sorry for my rambling... I can't summarize stuff... I think too much...
of course the world revolves around marie; she's the protagonist.
the original mary sue was a light hearted parody of star trek self insert fanfictions. then people (mainly manchildren who were upset about female characters not catering to the male gaze) started using it to describe any female character they didnt like and took all the fun out of it.
nowadays, there is no one definition for mary sue. some have reclaimed the moniker, some reject it, and some still hang onto the same misogynistic beliefs that popularised the use of the term 'mary-sue'.
the creator of the popular mary sue litmus test has even put a disclaimer at the top of their quiz stating that they no longer support their test or the use of the term. i personally only support the term in the context of affectionate parodies.
I used to be obsessed with making sure my ocs were not mary sues. these days i go fuck it i do what i want and if i want my ocs to subscribe only to the rule of cool then they damn well will.
I love these two together, but at this point I just want to see his brother and doctor become a couple. It's been too much of them in bed for me XD I KNOW UNPOPULAR OPINION
I TOO WANNA SEE THE BROTHER AND DOCTOR BECOME A COUPLE
I THIRD THE MOTION!!
Yeah me too. Hope there's sequel (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
