I am totally against rape and I think that its naturalization in literature and cinema could promote violent behavior in the long term.
But when we talk about omegaverse I think the issue should be approached in a different way. The omegaverse assigns animal behaviors to the humans (¨the heat¨ for example), therefore I think that judging the characters as if they were human is unfair and illogical. In fact, it seems totally discriminatory to me that the alphas are criticized for not being able to control themselves, when in the omega this behavior is totally accepted. Let's speak clearly: in the animal kingdom the female goes into heat and the males can´t control themselves because it is all part of the reproductive cycle!! The omegaverse undoubtedly thrives on these natural laws, which is reflected in the hectic and uncontrolled behavior of omegas and alphas. You want to judge the alpha based on the values of a society that´s not the one that omegaverse presents.
I consider it the most common mistake made by omegaverse authors: they humanize the alpha more than the omega; the forget the ¨laws¨ of the universe they create in order to please the readers: ¨a good alpha must be able to control himself¨... ladies and gentlemen, that doesn't make sense. A fictional story is usually based on a particular universe created by the author, with its own laws, etc ... a reader who does not respect those laws and cannot separate that universe from the real universe, will never fully understand the plot or what the author wants to show us with his work. On the other hand, an author who can´t be coherent with its own universe becomes the grim reaper of his own work.
Alert!!!: in this manhwa looks like both, alpha (it´s a conjecture cause we don´t know yet if he is and alpha) nd omegas, can control themselves pretty well, therefore it can be considered rape (but it´s a conjecture based in the behavior of the 2 MC), we need more chapters to be capable of comprehend the ¨laws¨ of this particular universe created by Gaet Saeng.

You're totally right, I personally associate omegaverse with smth animalistic since it's all about heats and mating and marking etc but I guess because they are humans and some mangas show that alphas can control themselves i tend to forget that animalistic side and well tbh I loath rape sooo much, like I hate how it's so normalized and romanticized in stories so when I see the alpha pounce on the omega while the latter struggles for help I just can't help but feel hate for the alpha altho I know he's not even conscious of what he's doing at that moment.
In this story I was triggered by the alpha mating with the omega cuz i really sympathized with the omega since he had a rough journey from losing his luggage to losing his meds and now he's getting raped so yea the alpha might have been conscious of what he's doing but he might have also done it out of instinct and we don't know that and tbh I don't wanna judge too quickly so I will continue this story and see how it unfolds.
