I assume you're young? I feel like this is common for teens and young adults. My best friend did this a lot when we were young. It's like she would stop existing whenever she got a boyfriend. That's not being sensitive. I don't know what country you're from so i don't know the laws on hitting kids. But anything past spanking is abuse, though i don't agree with violence in any way.
