"What's wrong with that" the character is broke , morals never touched this plot
After pilwon I hate anyone will be this mf Woo jin this whole plot is actually on the mess this mf WOOJIN creates (I was glad and about developed a soft side for him when he protected woo yeon from those classmates who were back bitching about woonyeon ) but the fact WOOJIN himself did those things to woonyeon mankin WOOJIN and those classmates no different a d what he did to cast aside junghwi is disgusting . I wish woojin's bubble bust and karma hit him with a tragic end ( he deserves it ) or get struggle to death ,he is a selfish can't take rejection and doesn't understand love nor does he love woonyeon , desire for wooyeon as an mark to satisfy his ego that "I want ,i get" , WOOJIN audacity to wish for Wooyeon to love him from bottom of heart ( like sir you think that's even possible when you are mind barking him in all aspects ) one this I notice about WOOJIN is when he feel "shitty" aka guilty/regret or realize his ways or decision were not right that he is not doing right thing to his he act as victim ( remember when wooyeon got to know about hand cream it should be woonyeon to be angry but he "let's play" him and acted victim like he was the one who got hurt lol)
You all don't know I happy when he saw wooyeon and junghwi kiss WOOJIN grief expression was souce of my happiness ( but deep down i knew now his Target is junghwi he might manipulate him but to think he would do something like that , even though the plot is ongoing but there is no way a back story or anything could make WOOJIN a character to be forgiven his past deeds are uncoverable ) but in all this the one to suffer most was junghwi i feel bad for him (He ended in a worng genre bl )
I wish wooyeon never end with woojin ( which don't think is possible because but I still hope for this ).
Half of wooyeon life will sort if this guy vanish
Lol

Already into yaoi mangas but this was one was my first BL "manhwa" and this was so underratedly famous back then the author even won a cash prize for this with killing stalking author has first prize ( both were published in same year so it was hard time switch for me lol) but it's sad how new readers and even old ones looking down on it ( maybe because it got no spicy scenes making it boring for them to just read dialogues)but if you see it from 2016 the author did a god job (award was the proof) being into bls from decades now, BLs back then were more focused on emotions than being physical with each other. Uncensored Smut got introduced only after mid 2018 and toxic smut 2019 , I will be very honest till 2017 it was an golden era of BLs many beautiful one belongs form that era like Never understand ,At the end of the road , etc. (I'm saying this regarding to bl "manhwa" the down fall of fluffy non smut bls to glorifying toxic romance bls manhwa went a drastic change ) but I'm glad there on time to time we get good bl manhwas.
This is my opinion not being rude with no intention of debate and argument

im going to have to disagree with you on that
there is a concept in psychology called the Rosy retrospection were you remember the past more favorably and thats exactly what this seems like.
i think there are some really good bl manhwas from before/until 2017 like dark heaven and blood blank which are actual masterpieces and unmatched, but most were really not that good looking back lol.
most of the best bl manhwas ive read came after this "golden era" you speak of
(also you say toxic smut was introduced in 2019, when an easy target came out in 2016 and that was a terrible experience for me lol)

Specified "not being rude" for a reason , You totally didn't understand what I mean to say ( I'm not a client you are being a psychologist to ,plus psychologist "never judge" that's the first thing in oath while taking the licence) okay back to topic i never asked for anyone's agreement in the first place it was my opinion which is true from "golden era" and toxic smut I meant the bls at the time produced where non toxic toxic one were rare ( as you mentioned the one) and from "toxic smut introduced in 2019" from that I mean the glorification of toxic smut romance (which is true you can't deny that) every second manhwa bl is now romanticizing abuse ,less production of soft bl and more toxic bl. You can see the old bl manhwas list produced till 2017 and then start looking at the bl produced from 2019 till now (This all I'm saying in regards to "BL manhwas" not including manga or manhua)

There is nothing to debate about what I said if you don't believe why don't you go through the history more you will see more you find my words true (with being biased )
Bro ,Judging you clearly did , from your first reply to "whatever" didn't sound like you are here for discussion , your tone was mocking/personal throughout the conversation doesn't fit for discussion nor debate, lol you mean public post are made to start a debate bro not everything is an argument
At last it was nice talking to you now I have to go
Byee, good night and sweet dreams

These days yaoi manhwa readers judge more based on the art, we have now many straight and same sex manhwas with stunning art styles and very interesting plots that they make ''A man like you'' look like crap so you shouldn't be surprised, this is also one of the first manhwas I read when I started reading yaoi it was like you said one of the best.

I'm sorry but this is not true. I read this when it first came out at the height of its popularity and still thought it was bad and dropped it. You're definitely looking at this through rose-tinted glasses. Mangago might promote mostly smutty works on the featured page now but there are so many woks nowadays with amazing plot, likable characters, and little to no smut. Plenty of fluffy AND smutty works too. If you're not looking for debate you shouldn't post your opinion in a public place where people can comment.

That's why when it comes to "manhwa" u should never run behind overrated bl featuring on home page u should do ur reasearch ,This one is damn underrated, I dug so deep into mangago and found this masterpiece and seriously it worth every sec. I love iri he looked so handsome in uniform. When he took chick to introduce his parents my heart busted into tears chick your man is raised well.
It's still ongoing though but after reading this far writting this regarding the manga sticking to the plot completely with respect to reality, since this is an "inspirational manga" made with pure intentions to "motivate" the readers through a character yatora who started from all "0" to add confidence in readers but amplified it more by saying in just 2 years of his high school and cracked TUA in first attempt but here in reality this is impossible.
The reason I'm saying this is because the drawbacks and how this Manga is all mapped for yataro from start till now all the situations obstacles emotions he went through turned out as his assignment topics ( which is impressive of mangaka's writting) which is unrealistic, doesn't happens in real life ,same pattern was noticed for his entrance exams when yuka and yataro went on beach out of blue idea created a nude potrait which boom turned out his entrance topic ( though I was impressed how mangaka presented it) most realistic thing about this manga is it's writting style depicts "frustration" ( I wont lie it gave me headaches as if I'm the one under pressure ) back to topic , yataro whole entry into art world was unrealistic vague and weak (mori painting didn't got him into art or inspired him to be an artist he was just amazed) it was his "even I can do that" attitude got him into art. And his sheep habits (see and do) is worst the reason he suffers at times and struggles with low self esteem he chose art because of mori chose oil painting for entrance because mori passed it ( see and do ) out of all the most unrealistic thing about blue period is yataro getting into TUA by just doing dessin and oil painting for topics (all thanks to the "obstacles") without exploring art from his own perspective and without any idea of what he wants to make/express or his own style ( like mori San drawings are based on prayers and religions), ( I won't lie i legit scream when he got into art club like bro what are you even going to make you are not thinking just drawing motif makes you good artists right?!? It's just for basics fundamental of art bro at least have hint form mori's paintings) all of my thoughts came true when the professor hit him with "real question" by saying "what are your approach?" After college introduction section and yotaro was suprised by the statement ( I was happy to Yotasuke my kind person who doesn't takes others criticism if they are not of his standing he even surfed on internet saying "he is not good as me" lol I love him)
There where many drawbacks in plots see art is a wied field needs a deep understanding of colors, pencils , tools ,material etc ( I even saw anime in hope they would have showed it details but not it was even worst they cut down many things from manga ) but yataro masted in shading in just four months?!? (Where is the detailed/struggle sence like choosing the correct pencils or the shading techniquea?!? Same goes for his other knowledge in it ) The plot is too focused on his mental struggle and success.
Thank you for reading this far I would be glad to hear others opinion on the manga too
critical thinking 100
I think you are too demanding... I personally thought it was pretty realistic (I'm an ex art student)
