I don't like how the majority of GL is sweet and delicate while the majority of BL is hard and aggressive. It's just so stereotypical, isn't it? I also despise the terms "seme" and "uke." If you get what I mean, it's like saying "man" and "woman." The ”seme” is frequently given masculine characteristics, whilst the ”uke” is given feminine characteristics. It's horrible how heteronormative everything is.
I'm not sure about GL, but I believe the majority of BL is written by heterosexual women for heterosexual women. They have no idea about the true lifestyle, experiences, and hardships that homosexual men face, so it's only natural that their content portrays them incorrectly. It's a terrible representation.
To add to my previous point, gay sex is far more complicated than "seme" and "uke," but they obviously have no idea.
