trauma does NOT excuse the harm he has caused, the author loves to write bad characters and then try to redeem them, unsuccessfully may I add. your doing exactly what writer wants you to, just forget about him being an abuser, a rapist and a man that uses his power to cause harm with no consequences because he feels lonely oh no poor jk. that's what the author did in bj Alex and that's what they did here. also even if he suffers from teribble trauma that effected him deeply , Kim Dan didn't do shit to deserve the terrible treatment he has gotten, he is not at fault and even if jk comes begging on his knees, Kim Dan is not obligated in any way to forgive him.

I read up to Ch.20 and that was the last straw. Bach’s Chaconne does not and can not end with a “Whoosh” it ends with a diminuendo! The bow hold is not correct ever (at all!) hell, sometimes the frog (weighted part of the bow) was much bigger or smaller than it should be. AND the bow was never straight on the string like it should be, it was literally behind the bridge at one point. I appreciated the Perlman mention though. One thing it did get right was the case, every orchestra has at least 8 violinists with that same rectangular blue case, with one strap because two is too expensive.
