Does the bookmark feature stay after long periods of time like does it keep the chapter bookmarked even after like months or even years?

That’s the main feature I use, I don’t use the already reading feature and I’ve never had any problems with my bookmarks disappearing I still have some from like 2 years ago that never updated and I just keep them bookmarked.
