Why doesn’t the management bureau actually try to actively do better than solely depend on one hero to save everyone. The concept that one person has to be strong enough and sacrifice for everyone else is so tired.
Tooth had horns like the “duke” in her past memories. I wonder if the “real” dragon died long ago and Tooth took his place.
Though I guess maybe the real duke might also have horns. It’s probably more likely this than that tooth replaced him.
I low key love Gestella. She just somehow brings just enough intensity that made the unbalanced chaos feel balanced
I think it had potential and I don’t think it’s bad or anything but I do think it really lacks in its plot and storytelling.
The story is clearly there but it’s like the author has never heard of a scorned woman before. There’s just no way the FL after all she went through in her previous life could be fools by such obvious schemes.
Not to pull gender into this but it’s reads like a man that’s never met a woman wrote this. Or a man that thinks women are incapable of doing for themselves.
I get that historically for the time it would probably be more accurate to put it that way but given that the story is about preventing her grandfathers death and not ending up back in a situation like she was in, it’s just odd that there are times when she seems like the same naive and timid girl that was abused in her past life.
Its just weird and tbh frustrating

I saw a lot of people having some misunderstandings in the comments. They think the fl deserves to hurt because she played with ml’s heart.
However that’s not true. She never expected him to actually like her and when she realized not only did he really like her she begun trying to amend the situation. (Though she probably could have just had a conversation)
Anyways after realizing she was also denying her own feelings because she didn’t want to hurt him more she still thought she was dying. So to her she thought she was sparring his feelings by leaving.
Anyways if yall wanna blame ANYONE, blame the author for forcing such odd bouts of misinformation and miscommunication.
I’m not necessarily a full-blown hater of romance in action/adventure type of genres, however, I do find that on occasion (often actually) That the romance tend to somehow diminish storytelling in some aspect. I think that probably has something to do with writers crunching on romance to further your feelings towards characters and the story, regardless, I love Gestella.
I love that the author didn’t crutch on the romance between Kaiden and her, And I love that her character isn’t ordinary and has a very unique aura and personality. She is probably out of all of the characters, one of my favorite top favorite character (it’s a toss up with Jiwoo. He’s such a cute little bean )
That Callisto and her second brother have been the only people really supporting her through everything is what does it for me.
I’m glad her dad has finally come around but a little too late don’t you think?
He never bothered to figure out what was happening with her and when he did find out all he could offer was an apology and a little too late action. And DERRICK I thought MAYBE you could be a little redeemable but good god dude is your brain simply there for decorating?! Even if you assume something was questionable at the ceremony ruling Yvonne out just because she’s your sister and wasn’t “planned” to arrive is wild.

I get that maybe the emperor and prince were brainwashed in ShuShu’s past life but there is a lot of reasoning beyond that to say that they did just give up on her. Even if you say they were brainwashed even before that the emperor didn’t make sure he knew what happened to the child bye went by the words of someone he couldn’t trust rather than making sure for himself. The prince if forgivable since he’s a child and never held any power to do anything anyways but I just can’t like the emperor. That being said I also can’t hate him.
I feel like he should speak to her rather than try forcing her into positions she clearly has no interest in.
