Honestly, its smutty, sure, very much so, but that, in itself, is part of the plot.Santarou's pheremones.Him being placed into such situations and unable to say no.Though it does clearly have some other plot.There are the feelings of each of the characters that have great portrayal-there's the whole thing with king we have yet to fully learn about-What are with the marks on Santarou?Is that why he has the male attracting pheremones?Who will he end up with in the end?
this has more interesting plot that other things I've read.At least it tries.It isn't just a fuck fest, it has emotion, it has things that make you want to keep reading-The characters are cute, there's something for most everyone-
And i mean, the sexy shenannigans are excellently drawn anyway and manage to keep a decent tone throughout them,like developing characters, how they feel about it, slowly building up to explaining santarou-I dont know why people are complaining about how much smut there is.They should be praising it for the amount of plot it actually has, unlike other works of the genre.

I also knew he would end up as a god!! As soon as the life force thing was introduced I had an inkling. I'm so glad, glad the story recognised the power issues between river and khaol, showed his problems clearly and blatantly, and didnt fall into the abusive cliche's of BL.Team Reil always.
