Okay so here is my rant, after reading the 66 chapters, that are uploaded ヽ(`Д´)ノ
Generally I did like most of it so far, I would say it was a fun read - nothing too amazing - I'm also very into sort of 'fix it', reborn, isekai storylines so I enjoy the concept! I also love seeing some pretty faces (even though blondie looked way too much like Link as a child lol).
And honestly I was (positively) surprised by how some aspects turned out to be more complex than I would have expected at first. Like how it was questioned if blondie even really loved the emperor at all, because he literally knew nothing about him as a person. And also it sort of being questioned if the emperor could even be forgiven in this life.
But then again in the later chapters a lot of thing did fall flat?! Like I honestly don't mind the emperor being all insanly obsessive and yandere. Like don't get me wrong the kidnapping and rape was brutal and also really disappointing, but what is way more disappointing is there being no consequences... like blondie seemingly just forgiving him and them just kinda being a thing now?? That just sucks!! It would have been way better and more interesting if they either made it so that blondie managed to fix the emperor so he would be - you know - the kind of guy who desn't imprison and rape the person he supposedly loves or go all in and make him yandere, but then there actually being development, maybe no forgiveness etc...
I also find it sort of weird, that so many characters remember their past lifes now, it kind of defeats the storyline of blondie being so important a little, but whatever. I mainly find it weird that all those other characters remeber the past, because it really doesn't do anything to the story?? Like nothing progresses because of it really? The one exception there is Yeomhwa because he actually has different views and goals, so he kind of works against the main character now. But honestly I also don't understand him?? I completely understand him wanting to kil the emperor, like even if he would not massacre tons of people in this life how could he possibly be forgiven and also who would knowingly accept such a lunatic as a ruler... - but he also wants to kill blondie?? sorry but that part doesn't make any sense at all, killing him would achive literally nothing?? During the whole story it is sort of framed, as if blondie was to fault for the emperor being a tyrant, but he really isn't tho?! I mean he might not have been a really nice or good person, but all he ever did was die, so why does Yeomhwa want to kill him Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
I hate this kind of problem solving... It just feels like the really easy way out to kill of the king, because he was a problem, he stood between moons and danas happiness, so it is the easiest to just kill him of, so he dies a hero, kinda annoyed by this, getting rid of conflict points that way is kinda cheap to me
True and not to mention sorry not sorry but dana, she ain't even worth fighting for at all. I hate the fact that King was just killed off like this and also cause only one guy can get dana and we all know dana have been going on about moon almost every chapter and srsly the only character who hasn't done much especially even after being the Queen.
It is wild how I didn't read this for like 4 years and now I came back to this story for there to only be around 15 new chapters lmao
