That girl in the last chapter strikes me as abusive. She had no right to hit him and she seems to be the type to try and control her lover. She left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't stand abuse.

it would be pretty rough for someone with an active sex drive to be in a monogamous relationship with someone who doesn't. Think about it - that person's sex life from then on is masturbation or having occasional pity sex with someone who isn't really interested. It's like speaking a different physical language. It's not unreasonable to have some doubts there.
I guess you just gotta find someone who is okay without sex and just masturbating, but the likelihood of that is probably better with other asexuals... I'm aro so I always have to find people who are okay with friends w benefits (which is harder than you would think) and who wont have romantic feelings for me...
