There would be no point in creating a het manga with the omegaverse theme because women can already get pregnant. And if you wanted to use heats as a part of your plot there are better ways to incorporate it.
That is, unless you want to make a female alpha then that would be a dif story but then again most creators just don't do that (idk why)
I figured that was the reason too. When omegaverse became has huge as it is now, I was honestly annoyed because it "justified rape" where main plots of yaoi were finally starting to move away from it.
