Yes people really need to let go. The story is different and the characters have different personalities. Ignore the fact that they were made by the same author while you're reading it. Otherwise you aren't really enjoying it.
I forgot that they were in middle school so when they were going to get their uniform fitted i was like..... "Since when did you need a uniform to go to collage? " Then I realized "Oh yeah they're still in middle school.
i spent half the manga figuring out why they needed a uniform, it wasn't until the chapter where Yukis voice changed I was like "He's 18 wtf?" Then realised wait.......he's 15.
I didnt know that his name was Senpa until i read the comments and people were saying it was "Senpa" and not "Senpai".
