People defending Ido, where?
He's this shitty to a complete stranger just because some shits whisper without checking out the truth. What's your excuse for him?
Why is this mf thought that perfectly fair to throw insults here and there just because he can misunderstand someone. HE ISN'T EVEN CHECK THE TRUTH BEFORE JUDGING. Ido clearly saw Sejin as a low form of living. Disgusting prick.

Seriously, why r you here reading if you aren't satisfied. Masochist much?
Get the fuck out.
Taeju was indeed a red flag, however he has much better redemption than those walking red to black flag you all praising after they have a lil bit of redemption and cliche reason for being an abuser.
I don't find any better redemption like Taeju, who stressed enough to labelled himself unworthy and filthy for Euhyun. He never stop keep reminding his own terrible deed. That's how a proper redemption is. Not just suddenly a change of attitude to become nice and loving. The author didn't hide behind the cliche reason like bad past / having trauma as excuse for doing the abuse. The author make Taeju own up to his wrongdoing.
Just because this sides story is a peaceful time in their relationship, doesn't mean you can forget how much Taeju own up to his actions in the last chapters of the main story. The dude persistently keep Euihyun away from the possible suicide by acknowledging, that it is him who made Euihyun that way. Planning to erase himself from Euihyun's life because he feel so disgusted by himself and afraid will contaminated/hurt Euihyun. He just wanna protect Euihyun from afar. Until, Euihyun himself wanted Taeju in his life.

no literally. i won’t ever ignore the fact that taeju did in fact sa euihyun but he’s one of the only characters i’ve seen actually take accountability for the shit he’s done. he:
1) fully acknowledged all the ways he hurt euihyun.
2) reflected on how controlling he was so he gave euihyun full autonomy in their relationship.
3) felt GUILTY AS HE SHOULD instead of acting like it was all “just a mistake.” he was abusive. it was a choice.
4) wholeheartedly apologized and didn’t even expect forgiveness.
5) took responsibility for everything he’s done by continuing to take care of euihyun, the crybaby, and now the actual baby.
he put his words into action. that’s how a redemption arc should be. he didn’t sweep all the shit he did under a rug and ask to start over. i fear it’s the bare minimum but it’s surprisingly hard for SO many bl authors to write correctly somehow. taeju has so much depth which i appreciate.

Oh no.. I don't like self-righteous MC
Please don't do that. DON'T RUIN THAT. In this apocalyptic world, that would be unnecessary to be naive.

It is a world without Law & Order. There is no certain limit that determines good or bad. There's no tool to keep people in order. The world was too fucked up to have normal minds that value humanity. Everyone in that town isn't exist in peaceful environment, they already experienced hell. Ain't no way they have the same degree of morality and humanity like the people that live in modern peaceful era. Implementing righteousness like the modern day IN THE CHAOTIC WORLD like this apocalypse setting would be stupid. This isn't about abandoning the weak, otherwise why would Guwon keep those children be safe in the town, in the first place. The punishment for the dad is too outrageous indeed, but to change the order to be always ready to serve everyone is naive. Human have no choice but to have some degree of greed. Especially those who already experienced hell. You can't rule them with the same value of Law & Order like in the peaceful era. Self righteous instead will bring chaos or even worse creating another hell.
The way Guwon rule the city need to be changed indeed. However, be too righteous in a chaotic world would bring harm.
Yo.. Misunderstanding isn't an excuse to treat someone like that. Sejin is a human, treat him with dignity. Especially when your misunderstanding didn't even have any prove.
