I know the author probably added that last part to show how good Daniel is, but cmon which decent mother goes 'im sorry for putting my children first'
Especially after everything we've seen from her, that felt so out of character
I think it's a normal thing to say though... like she's apologizing in case her lover felt "neglected" since she knows she will always prioritize her children. Like the comment before me said, she won't "ever" put Daniel first in any situation if all of them are in one dangerous situation. If I were her children I wouldn't think negatively of her either, like it's a normal and understandable thing to say to your lover.when you are a mother with kids and its NOT your partner's kids.
Just like how Daniel would say "whose bastard would feel neglected when their lovers prioritize her child" (roughly) for them it was like "what kind of brat we are if we would feel betrayed when our mom said that she felt sorry to his lovers for prioritizing us" cuz they know they are "prioritized" over her lover. I would feel extremely loved by her instead.
I checked this out because the rating was high but i got bored out of mind by chapter 3. Can the people who have read ahead say if it's worth the 9.6 rating?
Personal opinion? Absolutely worth it. It's historical romance mixed with action and scenes that borderline horror, creating tension, but it still leaves moments for comedy. It's apocalyptic survival, and feels different to a lot of rofan out there. The art is gorgeous too.
It's all down to personal views though. I can't help it if you got bored, I was the total opposite - I was intrigued and wanted to read more. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
This is based on me reading the 24 chapters posted here.
I had dropped this ages ago but decided to check it out again because i remember liking the beginning a lot.
So one thing lead to another and I picked up the novel too, and can I just say there's so much missing from the manhwa?? I randomly started with the chapter where Eve goes to the tea party and the whole Mikael rescue plot.
And it's described so well in the novel?? There's even a proper fight scene before Mikael finally surrenders! I had dropped the manhwa because it started feeling bland even with the decent plot, but now I think it might have been because the artist chose to skip so many character building scenes.
Idk the point of this rant lol. I guess I'm just upset because I used to love this a lot but I got bored and now I'm discovering it's actually good (• ▽ •;)
thr art downgraded drastically from the first chapter too. considering how long it took to come back, I understand the struggle
