I believe I just got whiplash from how fast that ended. It isn't the first to have a rushed ending, but damn...that was the fastest...wow. It was pretty good up until then.
So, I did like this webtoon...but I was kinda disappointed at the ending. But I do kinda get that she needs to like herself and fix her own inner demons before embracing a relationship with somebody else. The last line of it made it seem like she didn't end up together with him, and he just became a fond childhood memory...but whatever. Moving on.
Also, what Lori did was inexcusable, and I'm sorry...she didn't deserve to be forgiven. She used dirty tricks from the beginning to win Finn...even as a child. What child is that damn evil besides Macaulay Culkin in the movie The Good Son...but I mean, he was like a demon spawn, literally. But yeah, no excuse...not forgivable...and I'm sure there are plenty of ppl that want to scream at me that I'm wrong, but I don't care. She's a manipulative, conniving, psycho bitch.
So, I read this on a different site...from like chapter 1. I liked it, but I am disappointed that it seems like it was dropped at like chapter 119.
Storyline and bitch of an emperor aside...her facial reactions and thought bubbles have had me crying and gasping for air from laughing so hard throughout this whole story.
Ugh...I knew something was going to go wrong in the story because it was way too early for an ending, but I didn't know it was going to go down like this. I don't blame her for wanting to get out of the marriage thing with ML, but I do feel that the injury thing was a bit much. Knowing his past and his cray-cray tendencies, there are just certain things you shouldn't touch on. However, she's been through a lot in her past that it makes perfect sense that she's behaving the way she is now. I just hope nothing goes wrong with Etoile too.
So, I'm not sure if there will ever be a continuation, but I've read 131 chapters that are listed as complete on other websites. Tbh, I liked the story, but it was already starting to drag on with the whole game aspect. Then, there was yet another twist at the last 10 or so chapters just to leave it with a cliffhanger ending. That twist, in my opinion, was ridiculous and unnecessary.
OMG! This just made my day. It's back!!!! Hopefully, it'll keep updating. Definitely going to be re-reading this story again. I love this story sooo much!
The first season has already been completed and doesn't have a cliffhanger, for anybody who wants to read it. I actually liked this story a lot, and even though it shows a second season is coming soon, it has a proper ending...unlike a lot of these comics.
