you just need to pay attention to the environment, (for example there was that mikan box in the studio when kazu arrived after shoveling the snow, some ** time after we see rui putting on a sweater, then there's flashback, then we are shown that same box and rui wearing that same sweater so we're back to the present) there's also the news in the background; kazu and his brother talking about rui before we find out that's his name; rui story, which was more or less self explainatory
yes there still are mysteries, and the author doesn't give us any time notes, but if you really want to understand the events, just search search for the clues and you'll figure most of it out
I agree. But I mean, if it was only chapter 1, it might have been a bit confusing. But chapter 2 definitely cleared everything up, though there are still many mysteries.
