We were all doing fine with the ending, I thought the side story was going to be about Hyuk and Hyobin and seeing more of their relationship but instead what does the author do? Ruin me.
It feels like I have been stabbed and left on the side of the road not knowing if I am going to make it out, why would they do this?
Normally when I am reading manwha I notice that I tend to like the side couple better, this is the one case where I can't stand either of the side stories. The first one isn't super bad just not my thing but WHY ARE WE HAVING A SIDE STORY WITH THE BOSS?
This was the one person that I didn't want to know anything about. I would've rather known more about what happened yi-hyeoks mom or more elabortation on her than getting a side story on the boss.
Best ending is that he dies and I normally don't say that about a lot of characters but he is straight from the depths of hell
I just don't understand how this can be at a 7.9. We all have our opinions but if you want to make a psychological horror it needs to be way more fleshed out and have something that is really going to mess with you. This felt like they were adding in shocking things that barely had relevance to the plot, *cough* *cough* the pen scene.
This was one of the first ones I had ever read and sometimes I still look back at it just because of the weird nostalgia that I get from it. I love the art and I was so sad when the author didn't come back and do the side stories but regardless of that I still loved the ending.
There is so much that people really need to talk about when it comes to their relationship. I am reading this because it was recommended to me by a friend and I love the characters but I wish there was more development especially on Caesars end.
Like I feel like it is so glossed over that he assaulted Lee Won, shot him, kidnapped him, lets him almost get killed and knows about it, and then emotional and psychological manipulates him by harming himself and saying the reason was because of Lee Won. Like why does it feel like the entire story is just fine with that? (don't get me wrong I have read painter of the night and rereading it I have the same complaints I guess its something that just isn't my cup of tea.
