I am not really minding the lack of safe words because the point of the story is that the Sub depends everything to the Dom. Try and read all pages in one long strip. Click on the multi pages option (if you have not already done so.) It sometimes still annoying, but less then reading page by page.
I think the creator received a bunch of negative response after uploading the ending that they decided to make an alternative one so people could chill and see she didn't kinda fuck the whole thing up.
In the end I still think that the ending could have been different and use a different card than the usual death card. But that's what I think, I only read what they create.
