In chapter 80, MC says ML fucks him harshly for a while until they make eye contact and that's when ML focuses on making him feel good. Why? This has been eating at me. I can't figure out what prompted the switch in tenderness.
No I think it was because the mc thinks he is deserved to be punished only then can his sins be washed away meaning in this context the reason why his brother dies he blames himself for not correcting himself and being all delinquent I think for that reason he believes only when he's punished for it that he can move on in some sort of way and the ML says he'll help him with moving on so?... idk this is just my take on that panel..( ̄∇ ̄")
I got excited because the rating for this was so high but it really is a let down. The story had the potential to be great, it really did. But the male and female leads lacked chemistry, not because his feelings for her were twisted into obsession, but because they had no grounds to begin with. He likes her because she was nice to his mother? Really? I don't mind when authors play the whole fated lovers concept, but that's usually because it's clear that the relationship of the two leads is substantiated by more than just their circumstances. This was not the case with this story, at all.
Aside from the romance being bad, the story development, which was truly the only reason I kept reading, just got worse an worse. The reason the fairies followed the FL was never explained, nor was her status as a God really explained. They softened her character way too much towards the end of the book. She goes from being this supposed badass who's skills are unparalleled, to not even able to land a blow against Deva? Speaking of Deva, I get that making Kihu (2nd ML) the Deva instead of FL was supposed to be a shocking plot twist, but it felt flat. So did their revival after the end. Again, the great Erudite ( or however you spell it) was able to revive both MLs, but got blown to bits in seconds and abandoned everyone?
The art is gorgeous, but a story with a 9.5 rating should have BOTH a good love story and good plot development. This had potential, but failed on execution for both. 7-8/10.
Posting a very loud (and very wrong) opinion on a forum and then getting upset when people disagree is childish. Imagine posting a comment about the characters having 50+ chapters together with no development (which I vehemently disagree with to begin with) when they didn't even meet each other until nearly 20 chapters in. And they getting upset and blocking people when they reply? Like huh?
