It's obviously the endgame is the duke. Mayhem sometimes blushes when he's with him. Dunno if he's just being shy or there's already something going on there to make him go badump. You know what? This would have been better if they explored Sukuna's past. Like his origin story. And how Yuuji was his twin etc. There are so many loopholes because author-san didn't show us the whole thing and just palstered us with long conversations. :( What a shame. Right at this moment, I'd suggest to wait a bit more, since you don't seem to like waiting for things to escalate. Penny's ceremony is about to happen but right now is still building towards it, so better to binge read when it actually happens and the story progress onto the next plot point.
