It was an angsty BL. I don’t remember much but I do remember a particular scene in the story where the bottom was framed by another maid/servant who was a type of spy or sm like that and the Top believed the maid and basically confined the bottom, traumatized him and fed him drugs until he was addicted and then broke like a favorite painting of his causing the bottom to kinda give up Ig and then tried to off himself and by this time the maid confessed to the Top that the bottom was actually innocent and was used and a scapegoat and a bunch of other stuff happened but that’s all I can sum up from the story.

i LOVE the art style of “First of summers” and i really want to read something that is similar, or atleast same art style ヾ(☆▽☆)

" Espel ends up betraying Elaine and Richst and it turns out that he was the true mastermind behind the necklace that made Bella go on a rampage and manipulated the royal family. All because he was in love with Bella and wanted to isolate her by killing everyone else around them since they’re both immortal… but Elaine foiled his plans so he tried to sacrifice Rischt and take Elaine’s heart to revive Bella. I was so disappointed and was really excited for Espel ans Elaine’s familial relationship. I’m pretty sure that Espel genuinely cherished Elaine as family at some point but his love for Bella twisted his emotions and he ended up loving/resenting her after she ruined his plans after Bella gave Elaine her heart. The ending was pretty anticlimactic ngl. The novel was good but towards the end the storyline seemed to deteriorate… "
