I was so happy when he called her out then so mad when he kissed her. If he could get close enough to kiss her, he could have done something else. Hopefully, with the kiss he takes all her powers and forces her to drop out. She a massive hypocrite who thinks she is more important than she actually is.
To be honest, I don't like the way the situation was handled. It lacked substance and the kids didnt get the best guidance. They just made one side conform instead of using it as a growth opportunity. It might seem small, but if it continues, the results won't be good. I believe the MC said she felt like she was becoming a narrow-minded person because in that moment she was being narrow-minded. They failed to stay neutral and guide the children. In the end, Lara might think all she has to do is whine or use something against someone to get her way, and Mikhail might think all he has to do is suck up to someone to fit in or maintain peace even at the cost of his own emotions or feelings. Lara could end up spoiled or too fragile/sheltered to handle rejection, and Mikhail could end up fake or depressed, feeling like he has no choice but to keep the boat steady to avoid being isolated. They really could have just talked to the kids, have the kids communicate their own thoughts and emotions, and worked as mediators to help them properly communicate themselves. How can you expect kids that young to find the solution themselves when you never showed them how to get the answer I guess I shouldn't get too frustrated over it since it is just a fictional story and every parent makes mistakes.

I think asking the kids to work things out when they even understand emotions is kinda crazy. I think they need to talk to each kid and guide them to understand their own emotions then encourage them to communicate those emotions to each other. I also see a lot of comments saying that Mikhail is rude. I think those people forget that he is a kid and that we are seeing things from Lara's perspective. Lara is upset that he doesn't want to play with her but is willing to play with her little sister, so she has become possessive of her sister. Mikhail not being interested in Lara is also pretty common. They are different ages, different genders, have different hobbies , and have different personalities. They have nothing in common. Mikhail is the most similar to the brother, so they interact and are friendly with each other. He finds the MC interesting because he can actually understand her while others can't. He doesn't have anything connecting him with Lara. I think it would have been better for the parents to do activities with the kids to help build those bonds between all the kids, but they just left them to their own devices and took for granted that siblings play together because they are siblings and probably would ignore each other if they were strangers or less outgoing. All that being said, this is a chance for both of them to grow. Mikhail can learn to interact and build relationships with people he has nothing in common with, and Lara can learn how to handle rejection. In reality, not everyone is going to to want to play or be friends with Lara. They may be more interested in one of her siblings than her, but she can't be mean to them or try to monopolize her siblings because of that. Mikhail also has to realize that people can be hurt when they feel ignored even if you don't think you are ignoring them. Both kids are cute and are just kids. They are not intentionally rude or mean. They are just kids. I think stories like this where the kids are mature and where an adult possess the body of a child often makes us forget how kids really are.
Yeah, these two are too young to just work something like this out. This is a teaching moment where you try to work out and help the children understand each other. They're just a tad too young to understand these feelings. I also agree with liking this cause they actually act like children instead of mini adults it's nice to read and makes it feel a bit more realistic.

You know, after going back and reading the first few chapters, the mc's birth must have really been a wtf moment for the father. He is immortal and can't have children because he doesn't have a gender, but he still fell in love with this half-elf. After giving like a 10th of his powers to her, she disappeared and even put up a barrier to keep him out. Like she really kept him in the dark about the situation and even acted cold so he wouldn't stop her. When he senses her life in danger, he comes back to see her being taken by a demon and a child crying. He loses it and send the child away. It took years for him to recover and read the letter, but since he is immoral, it was probably but mere moments to him. He was like so that was out child and the reason you needed my energy? After bringing the child back, he has the try to understand the concept of gender when he knows they both have none while also watching over a child who wanted to go see the world before properly learning how to manage their powers. He has to watch his child be kidnapped, pose as a servant, do dangerous tasks, be accused of murder, and more just to so they can explore the human world. No wonder he think the MC strange. He probably thinks what's the point of all this when you can just live a peaceful but boring life under the sea? Daughter, son, why does it matter when you don't have a gender? Changing your body to wear a dress, ok? Why you out here playing with a dragon? Why you running into danger for fun? He probably so confused.
Agree with everything except that the father always has been insisting on calling the MC a son even though she didn't like it and understandably identified as a female since she had been living as one in the human realm all this time. Why call her a son? He should try to be more understanding concerning that but I guess that topic is simply used as comedic relief in this story... Kinda annoying for me...
I agree with all that, but the side of the mc also matters. She was happy and content in her life and is suddenly pulled into a world without her consent and is told about a father she never knew she had. Plus she doesn’t really get the option to return back to her home with the family that she originally grew up with and loved. Overall, I think they both have reasons to be uncomfortable and angry, but should be putting in more effort to understand each other’s sides. Also, he’s significantly older and should be able to approach the situation much more maturely than he has been.

I agree with what you said and never meant to imply that the MC doesn't have a side or right to feel how she feel. She is the MC, so we will always see things from her perspective. My point was that sometimes it is easy to forget other people's perspective when you are only viewing it one way. Her father also has a perspective and his own unique experiences, and he was affected by the mother's actions just like the MC was affected by his actions. I was just listing his experience not denouncing the MC's own.
