its 3:00am while I'm writing this message with tears in my eyes but I could not recommend this series enough
The first thing I have to commend is the pacing, I always find myself bored in the middle of a series (even when it's short) but push through because I only have a 'few' chapters to go. This series was different, somehow I got from the start to the end without ever having to worry about how much longer it would take
That aside, it's a beautiful story. The push and pull of Pauli's competing desires was so heart-renching to read at the end. That's not even touching on the discrimination she suffered throughout the story. I could not recommend it enough. When everyone brought out their swords at the end without hesitation it was dazzling that she could continue to be who she wanted to be and what she wanted to be.
This one is definitely a rereader
WHAT HAS HE DONE FOR YOU KIM DAN STOP TRIPPING OVER THE BAR
and he's getting things out of it too, it's not like it's some sort of selfless help borne out of his empathy towards dan's situation.
jaekyung finds dan hot, so he fucks him. jaekyung gets his jinx fixed, dan gets money. it's a transaction. there's nothing romantic about that, which is what i'm sure op was referring to.
Sorry I realised that I should have been clearer with my statement. I think jaekyung has done nothing that should make Dan fall in love with him. Yes I know that falling in love can't be controlled and sometimes it's for the strangest reasons but in this case you can't help but think that jaekyung has done nothing personally for Dan. The ONLY solace I will give to jaekyung is helping out his grandmother and showing some humanity through that. Otherwise all he's really done for Dan is support him financially while screwing him on the side so I really don't know what Dan's falling in love with unless it's with the way jaekyung spends his money....
But im still reading so
GENUINELY genuinely I think im being gaslight bc how did I read 73 chapters absolutely hating everything about this series to seeing the last page and being like okay maybe it wasn't that bad after all
I honestly blanked out ngl, wait so genuinely what the fuck is going on? Why is the black hair crying n hugging the blondie, didn’t he hurt him a lot?
Im a little confused as well but if u read a novel a lot of their inner thoughts are revealed but I think its because yugeon lost his only purpose for living which was his brother and then ofc the looming destruction of the world so the only solace they can find is with each other????? Don't take my word for it tho oop
