Ugh...I've gone over the Russin scans twice (which I can't read for shit) & I actually can't tell the ex & the mangaka apart because of how close they look, especially when the mangaka is tired or sad & his eyes look smaller. They both have short & long hair at some point.
If it's the mangaka, then there's a timeskip & he grows his hair back out. If it's not him, then he sleeps with his ex & then goes to cry in his old apartment & never shows up in the series again.
It's kind of driving me nuts. now just wanting to know makes me want to read it even more.

Yeah, Lucaon's mom looks like the lovechild of Kyon & Christoph. There are studies that suggest people seek out physical & personality traits in a lover that mirror their opposite sex parent, so it seemed intentionally done.
Did anyone else think that Jieun looked like Yoon-Bum with a wig & no dark circles under his eyes? I wonder if that was intentional.
For me, the series didn't really get interesting until Mon & Manananan were introduced. I had no idea what the hell was going on in the series plotwise. The back & forth between erotic & chbi comedy is giving me serious mood whiplash.
Just so noone gets confused or expects something that will NEVER happen, this is NOT a shounen ai series. I don't own the last 5 volumes, but I do know that Dorian will never get Klaus. Aoike Yasuko cCOMPLETELY lost interest in BL in the early 80s (which sucks because Sons of Eve was fucking hilarious). This series went on hiatus for 7 years & came back with a dramatically different art style. Eroica became an action/adventure comedy.
I guess for people actively hoping for BL, you could say the relationship dynamic is like a G-rated version of Koisuru Boukun manga if Souichi never forgave Morinaga for even confessing to him. I could never actually read the series, but Dorian just seems completely heartbroken around Klaus, who barely tolerates his presence.
There is some seriously funny shit in the latter volumes though, so I'm sad that the company who picked it up & dropped it & that Pink Panzer never picked it back up. I jsut want to know how it ends! >.< I really need to buy the rest of it.....
Also, don't trust the 1st volume It's like a BLAM Episode with an aborted subplot & characters that never show up again.
I hate the art shift so much..... It's still really good drawing, but I always loved the style she did in the 70s. T_T

Actually I'm in a group scanlating Eroica after Pink Panzer went out of business, but we don't upload much on online readers. We've scanlated some side stories and about half of vol. 32. If you have scans of vols. 39 & 40 we'd love it if you could share. We haven't done much scanlating work lately because we currently need a translator, but we all love Eroica and we'd like to scanlate the rest of the series if possible. I don't think we'll ever get to see Dorian and Klaus become more than friends in the manga either, but I love the manga nonetheless!
Am I the only one who prefers her OLD art style in the first half of the series? Shuichi, Ryuichi, & Touma never really looked their age, but now they look like shotacon characters.
