He doesn't act like a literal child though, he is extremely responsible for himself and self reliant through all the story. And even if he was kicked out from his home he already had a gig lined up to get to sleep and eat, plus he wasn't even planning of staying in Taeseo's house and was already moving out but Taeseo stopped him

I feel like horsey needs one final push to get in the headspace to really Chase after Kim Dan. Like with his current mindset, he's not guilty, he doesn't acknowledge his real feelings for KimnDan, still hyper obsessed with his champion title. That's NOT the mindset of someone who's supposedly in a 'redemption arc'. I think maybe the final push would be granny's death or some kind of event like that, that leads horsey to realise his feelings for KimDan and ACTUALLY start the redemption arc and then suffer more.
It's like the author doesn't know what to do with the plot so they're just pushing out sex scene after sex scene. And the professor is not getting any screen time, it's like the author doesn't know what to do with the professor either. And it's so obvious that the author wants wooju to end up with the blondie, and because of that, despite this being a love triangle story, the other male lead is not even getting screen time.
the author needs to stop the global releases, I don't think they're getting the proper time to develop this story fully, it's toxic yaoi so sex is obviously gonna happen but the progress of the plot is so slow, we're two seasons in and it's just been sex with little droplets of plot, the sex is hot as fuck don't get me wrong but I'm here for drama, angst, toxicity and beta bitching into an omega, and as you said the other ml isn't getting ANY time at all, we need him to sleep with wooju and have more development for this to be a love triangle, wooju is gonna end up with jiheon that much is clear, but we need more time with the professor, more time for plot and seriously the author needs to release in korea first, allow episodes time to progress plot and build up and THEN release them internationally, this obviously isn't working and they either need to rethink the pacing (which they need to do anyway) and rethink what direction they want the story to go in because currently it's only sex with hints of plot but no actual plot developing
