Ngl what Doyoon did was shitty, but he has the right attitude. If he had just justified the plagiarism as “well this guy deserved it”, that leads to a slippery slope where ANYONE who pisses Doyoon off could also get framed.
So it’s really good that the cost of the plagiarism was Doyoon’s conscience. This is a sin he’ll bear forever, but he’s willing to carry it to save the other idols and songwriters. If it wasn’t for them, he wouldn’t have even thought of ripping off someone’s songs.
I get our girl is out here recreating Starbucks, but it would have been way smarter to make it a more exclusive venue. Start small, let rumors spread, then begin opening up as demand rises.
IDK I just have a hard time imagining snooty nobles standing outside to line up for a casual cafe. Lady Baby and Duchess’s 50 Tea Recipes did it better.
I’m not about to blame a traumatized child for exhibiting symptoms of PTSD, but someone should have noticed what a liability she is and removed her from action. Whether that be the teachers, Raon, or Runaan herself - she should not be out on the battlefield when she cannot handle the sight of gore without risking the lives of her comrades.
I do really like the intrigue between Alicia and Ophelia. It’s not fair to one-sidedly label either of them as a bitch when the story is trying to hard to make them both nuanced characters. If it turns out Ophelia really did let all of these bad things happen, I’ll judge her then. But for now I want to celebrate a fictional sister bond that’s negative without someone being obviously evil.
I know Hyunwoo’s not a businessman, he’s a gamer, but thank god he’s smart enough to reason himself out of pettiness and anger. Did that guy’s face probably feature in his nightmares of looming debt? Yeah. But the creditor didn’t do anything illegal or morally wrong, and he’ll help Hyunwoo make more money.
A plotline where Hyunwoo had to overcome his dislike of this guy wouldn’t have been the worst thing, but I’m glad we can get straight to the point without it.
I love enemies to lovers, which is why I’ve kept up with this for ages. Earlier chapters, from the school to the tavern, were really good about throwing in sweet moments between their bickering, so that you could actually see why they would start to see the other in a romantic light.
But somewhere in the weird magic and complex politics, they forgot to give our sweet Nunnaly any nice moments with Alves? So now it just feels like they would be stupid to have feelings for each other when all they do is bitch about how much they don’t like the other. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 Yeah I like the world building, but I’m a believer in the world supporting character relationships, not character relationships being sacrificed to serve the world.
I really appreciate that they didn’t skip the honeymoon phase just because they had a baby. All the angst of the slowburn has finally paid off, we have to appreciate how far they’ve come!
Ethnic hair? On a woman? Who is tall with broad shoulders? And has dark skin? In a position of power and authority?
I should buy a lottery ticket, this is insane.
Ok so that noble boy is actually a criminal, not just a bully. Thank god for our protagonists, because if he just got away with daylight robbery and vehicular manslaughter, I’d reincarnate just to kill him myself.
I could usually figure out what was happening despite the bad translation, except for the last chapters.
So HOLY COW OUR BABY GIRL IS A PRINCESS NOW??? Like bona fide royalty, not just a nominal consort?!? I was expecting that to happen only after it was revealed Sanya was biologically related to the Empress, not by a “I bet you can’t” argument. That was so childish it was hilarious.
Usually accidental flirting is because the character is naive/oblivious, which gets annoying. But here, it’s because she’s intentionally trying to deceive everyone at first. Love me a female lead who is clearly intelligent and socially adept. And now anything she does is accidentally flirty because of ~✧repressed feelings✧~ on both sides!!!
I thought this story was gonna be about a girl finding her own self worth away from her toxic dad, but nope the true Protagonist was her male friend the entire time. Which is great for his character, but it really puts Dorothea between a rock and a hard place. If she becomes a good person, it plays right into Ethan’s plans and he gets all the credit for saving her. If she doesn’t become a good person, nothing changes and Dorothea never gets to develop as a character. Lose-lose situation. ( ̄へ ̄)
The way the art shows the “outside influence” on the ML, though!!! Honestly gives me the creeps, seeing those messages become more and more invasive as the story continues.
I’m the kind of reader who enjoys watching a powerful, possessive ML grovel. Not because the FL has authority over him or is threatening him, but because she’s ready and willing to walk away. And he realizes that if he doesn’t repent immediately, he will no longer mean anything to her.
And I have been waiting. For SO LONG. For things to get worse. For the ML to cross the line. For the FL break. Just so for this moment where his desperation overtakes his pride and he’s humbled at the feet of a woman he thought he controlled. And by god, it’s here. It’s here.
I love the dragons in this series because of how cool and reptilian they look but why does the artist insist on drawing Blue with big forward facing anime eyes??? Baby reptiles have a different cuteness from baby mammals, so drawing Blue like a puppy just makes him look ridiculous and less dragon-like.
I mean, we all expected something bad from their first life, but what gets me is how they revealed it. They waited this long to tell us- not even tell us, they SHOWED us what happened. All so that they could wring as many tears from my sad soul as they could. So rude. I’m not even mad.

I’m only up to chapter 15, but if FL really wanted out of the project, she could just say she needs to do this for her mental health or there are conflicting interests in this project. The ML is basically holding her work and professional reputation hostage to get closer to her. Like, I get the whole point is for them to get back together but if this happened IRL to my friend, I would be telling them to get out as soon as freaking possible. Which is why I’m so mad at all of the FL’s friends who basically just stand by and watch this happen, like the sister who claims to be on the FL’s side but then tells them both she’s not getting involved. If things were really that “bad” for the FL when the ML left, why are you all so chill about her wounds being reopened now?
