I read this because of the mc's cool character in the chapter 1. Its funny and entertaining but idk if there's a plot. It just randomly showed missions and scenarios.
I don't know if I understand what you mean, the story is about the MC and his life, its about how he grows stronger, how badass and funny he is, the plot os that, and it's always clear why he goes on missions, they don't give more detail about the missions because it isn't necessary as they are only stepping stones for the MC to grow stronger and meet new characters.

I've read a lot of romance webtoons while mangas since 2011. Main couple with same age and others got an age gap. I think it wouldn't bad to have an age gap couple because you'll learn how the author will portray the relationship dynamics. As reader, you just have to select the mangas/webtoons that suits your preference. Mine was more on rom-com school theme. Presently those isekai revenge themes.
oh i think an age gap is completely fine, so long as its legal. this book for example, i see in the comments people talking about 16 and 20 which is just gross. but if its 22 and 26 etc then ofc its fine and it can be an interesting dynamic. i just detest this romanticisation of age gaps where one is a minor, its not right and people shouldnt normalise it
