So, after I read the whole Manhwa, I can say that I don't really like Penelope. I wonder how she really thought Eclis was betraying her so quickly, when it is clear that his favorability is up at 99%. The game won't lie, no matter what. And I also find it very weird that Penelope is trying so hard for them to love her, when she's just going to throw them all away, push them away, and not even see through their minds. In my opinion, I think Penelope is obsessed with the thought of the fact that "They don't trust/understand me", that she really doesn't see that she need to figure them out just as much. There are a few things that pissed me off that Penelope did, and the scenes would be so much better if she just didn't. Either way, I just hope Penelope can be more open minded in the sense that she's not smart, but rather observing.
I believe that it’s her trauma that’s leading her to act in that way though. I guess her trauma from her past family is really quite strong. I don’t know though, just my interpretation.
i think you need to read the whole manhwa again to fully understand penelope :/ everything she's doing is for her survival and to FINALLY exit the game that has been giving her a hard time since day one. she saw how eckles was the fastest way to exit the game, hence, she did whatever she could to reach 100% with him as soon as possible. and of course, the game's goal was for them to love her so she has been trying her best to earn it in her own ways and MOST OF THE TIME it was clearly the game forcing her to interact with the mls. and she can wholly relate to the real penelope because of their similar circumstances, that's why she's fully sympathetic to the character she's playing. she understands her character the most!! so you can't really judge her emotional and mentall well-being :')
