Okay so people shouldn't gate the emperor. Imagine the kid you raised turns around and tried to kill you. That shit is hard to forget

No, I understand that Ed didn't want to kill his Uncle, but for the Emperor who'd already had the rest of his family turn against him, and then being forced to come to terms with the fact that his nephew would willingly turn against him, even if it's only to do what is right, that is going to terrify the Emperor. It's trauma that he's struggling to overcome, the feeling that an unknown woman is more important to Ed than him, who raised him with nothing but love in the previous timeline/life.
It's why I think having Alice by his side will do him good, especially if she too remembers the 'past', they can help eachother heal and not be manipulated, even if that Rebecca woman is dead.

I so agree with you on Alice! but what I do not agree with you is that guy own selfishness being translated as a ptsd! I get that he went through hell with his family and I get that he was a slave of love maybe that’s why he acted like that back then but what I do not get is why even though he went back in time completely woke, remember everything and yet he still blames Ed and can’t forgive him! And what’s worse is him taking care of our baby in front of Ed! Does this even make sense?

Where does it say he blames Ed and can't forgive him? He understands that the Edgar he sees now isn't the same one who turned against him, that Edgar is just a child in the moment. But even knowing that, he can't forget the feeling of that pain, since to him it only happened 6 months ago. He is only distancing himself from Edgar to avoid that pain happening once again. I do agree that the difference of how he treats Ed and Lili is a bit absurd, and the coping mechanism of distancing himself is also a bit bad, but don't completely write off the King's trauma.
Personally if my bias held my hand like that I would pass away but that's just me ig
