I didn't think this list would have so much followers. Thank you. For those who are asking if this list is active, yes its active. I'm just really picky.

What you'll basically see here:

Heroic Protagonist.
Trash Protagonist turned good.
Plain trash protagonist you can't help but like.
Villainous protagonist.
Cheat-like protagonist.

I'm biased with everything placed here since I read it all. I hope you like them too.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, it totally exceeded my expectations and the character building and plot were perfect. ngl the first couple of chapters were painful to read through, due to the r*pe scenes being so well drawn that you could feel kirin's emotions through the screen. I'm accustomed to reading dark stories but the way kirin's latter initiation with all the members was portrayed genuinely disturbed and disgusted me, I'm glad the author didn't let it go all the way.

Now there are two main things I'd like to go over, the overall plot building/revenge in the first half and the characterisation/focus on kirin and kang mu in the second. I personally really liked the way the first half done, albeit cliche in some aspects, it was still very thoroughly enjoyable and so well executed that I don't even mind the clichés. I'm sure we all realised kang mu was the murderer, especially since there are so many clues dropped. However, the fabrication of evidence for each member was something I had not expected and the initial presentation of kyubin as the murderer for the first case, really did throw me for a loop haha. I love that the author actually took us through kang mu's process in killing the members at the end of it all, as some stories never provide the full context. ALSO, I must say, detective nam by far is one of the MOST CAPABLE detective I've ever seen in one of these murder stories. I'm glad that he never does the cliche of betraying kirin and stays true to his principles. The only thing I wish we had more context on, is why joohyuk liked kang mu and what were his intentions in "ruining" the club, if he knew kang mu would likely dislike it. But other than that, everything else was 10/10.

In terms of kang mu and kirin, their relationship and chars are so well written. To start with, I AM SO GLAD the author did some research into psychopathic tendencies, giving us insight into the behavioural tendencies of a psychopath and context as to why kang mu is the way he is. Too many times have I seen authors and media misuse mental illnesses and I'm glad the author explored this issue in detail, even having a therapist within the story go over everything. I never realised that there different types of psychopaths, so reading this I learnt something new. Moreover, I love kang mu's characterisation, I think the author portrays his sentiments really well and I'm glad they highlight his struggle to suppress his desire to kill. Furthermore, with kirin our main protag, I enjoy how strong-willed he is throughout the story and his ability to stand up to kang mu. Now, onto the relationship between kang mu and kirin. Is it healthy? Fk no. BUT although I don't think their relationship should be romanticised in any way, I do thoroughly enjoy their dynamic as a couple. I'm glad the author herself, emphasises that what kang mu feels is not as simple as "love" because as shown throughout the story, that would not be true to the nature of his character. Despite that, the reason why I can enjoy kirin and kang mu's dynamic is because there's no abusive power imbalance, shown in other stories like Killing Stalking. Moreover, kirin's strong willpower in pursuing his relationship with kang mu and the fact kang mu never fully puts kirin's life at risk (without precautions), makes it hard to dislike what the have. All in all, I do hope as shown in the story, that kirin remains a suppressant for kang mu's murderous tendencies but that's just my wishful thinking.

Also, the segg scenes were great and hella well drawn, so you get the best of both worlds if you came just for the BL aspect.

tldr; this was a masterpiece and an amazing read. from plot, to characterisation to art style. everything is perfect. don't regret binging this in one sitting at all.
