After bringing her his country ML makes FL his slave. She was taken to the Queen quarters where FL will live. Everyone in this country hates FL. Maids and guards ignore her. ML assign a women idris( mtl) to take care of her. But idris hates FL as she wants to become the Queen.

ML resents FL because while he was in the jail someone told him that FL has confessed that the slave seduced her basically dumping everything on him. And her testimony was officially recorded in the files.

He comes to her chambers every night to do her. She meets aslan who is the head priest of Lu temple. Where he reveals a prophecy regarding her that she must not fear desert. He also has future prophecy about ML but he can only reveal it to him.
While ML was away from palace due to some rebellion idris and maids colluded and poison FL with flower thorn. FL asks for doctor but they ignore her. This poison spreads slowly and can cause blindness and deafness if left untreated. ML returns and imprisons maids and remove idris from her position. The only cure is she has to go to Lu temple to pray.

Miriam is appointed as a new attendant to FL. She is nice and kind. FL goes everyday to temple to cure her poison. So while praying they imagine themselves in desert where they have to find water.
During this time delegates come from some country (where FL was supposed to marry before) 2nd prince of this country was here for some trade business. FL helps ML with mine related trades. She finds herself useful. 2nd prince asks her to flee with him so that he can become the king of his country because she's a princess. But she refuses.

Omar(I don't remember his name) is brother of samira. Samira was a slave in FL country. FL saved her from her brother and made her maid. But Samira hates FL because she thinks FL treats her as a slave. She has a ring which reacts to royal blood and it reacted to ML's blood so she knew ML was a prince. ML asked her to keep this a secret. It was her who told ML about how FL accused ML and betrayed him. Later FL brother killed her .

So this Omar guy is searching for her sis in FL country. FL lies that she died because of plague. But eventually be finds out the truth and asks ML to let him seek his revenge by killing her. ML says no. Both of them fight and Omar guy loses his hand.
FL finds out that in ML's country whoever kills the king is cursed and dies immediately but luckily ML is still alive. But she finds out that he is indeed cursed(the tattoos are cursed) and he has only 1 year to live.

ML had to go to meet Kendrick he was the one who taught his sword when ML was slave. So he had to go to FL country because Kendrick refused to talk unless ML comes to meet him. FL can't go with him because she has yet to cure her poison also because she's pregnant ( and yes haven't told ML about it).
While ML is gone, when FL goes to temple to pray she finds finally finds water (statue with inscription of eternal water) and prays for ML safety. Aslan tells her that his prophecy might come true, she has to flee now. But unexpectedly Omar guy arrives and tries to kill FL but aslan tells him that FL is carrying next king blessed by Lu god so he can't harm her. Omar guy is pissed he takes her to dessert and tells her that if she's really blessed then she can survive desert.

ML arrives and gets to know Omar rebellion and FL's situation. He goes to desert to search for her. After some days( I don't remember) FL while hiding from sandstorm ends up in lu god's city. He tells her that lu god hates ML because he has stolen three hearts.
So ML's mother was chosen by lu god as the new priestess but king forcibly made her his concubine. And she got pregnant with ML. While civil war was going on aslan gets a prophetic dream that both ML and his mom will die. Next day ML and his mom arrives at temple. She asks if aslan had the same dream. She tells him to take them to that temple altar(pond) idk mtl was unbearable. So basically they drink something ( maybe 3 hearts) from a cup which can change their future but ML mom gave these hearts to only ML's cup. Since ML future has changed and with the help of aslan escape to FL's country. And these three hearts are the power to life whenever he dies. When ML saved FL for the first time in slave auction he died but was alive due to 1st heart. When he was in jail and Antonio (FL brother) hunts him and kills him he survived due to 2nd heart. And when he kills the king(his brother) for the throne he survives due to 3rd heart. Since curse is really powerful he could not escape death and will die in 1 year. FL asks him to save ML so lu god proposes her 3 conditions. She'll rebuilt his city which has been abandoned in the desert, devote her first child to lu god(he will be the next king) and 3rd idk. Also aslan is quite happy that FL has received lu god blessings because it is after 300 years that a new king has been blessed by lu god.

She eventually wakes up and finds ML in the desert saves him (his curse disappears) and they return. Idris and Omar are punished.
Their first child is boy who is named after 1st king. FL marries ML. ML asks her to become the emperor of her country since both countries cannot peacefully live together due to cultural differences.
