I totally get that, I have to take off work and cancel plans because of mine all the time. he's being an ass if he doesn't understand, it's not like u want to cancel and on top of that you're in terrible physical pain. idk if you already do this but I rotate out my interests since this happens to me too. Sometimes I'll use movies, manga, tv shows, n YouTube series to get out of reality and if those don't work instead of consuming art I kinda create smth with it? I'll make Pinterest boards based on a theme or I'll spend hours curating a playlist. Sometimes I go in...... reply
